Who was slightly better than inept?

My vote goes to Kalou. I nearly went for Malouda although note both are only awarded for their 1st half performances. Second half was a disgrace.

I actually went with Deco today. He's been out for quite some time with injuries and when he was brought on today he actually did some good stuff and looked like he wanted to do well. Reminds me a bit of Crespo who wanted to leave but still gave his best to help the team. Fair play to him.

(not saying he was excellent though, but he wasn't awful anyway)

Kalou, who has amazingly been (along with Malouda) our most effective attacking player these past few weeks.

Though i have to say im caught in two minds if thats because he is playing really well, or just because everyone else is playing so shockingly.

The decision to sub him for Deco was a strange one, though no where near as ridiculous as Sturridge coming on for Anelka in injury time, which, as ive said elsewhere wasnt just pointless, but also insulting.

Went for Mikel. wasnt an amazing performance from him, but was the best of the lot for me. Wouldnt really expect him to be the creative one so dont blame him for the dross quality of attacking play in the second half.

It was worse than strange. Barring any injury which we are not aware of it was a ridiculous decision (as was the Sturridge one).

If Carlo can't see that Lampard was a passenger today then he will be enjoying yet another fat pay off sooner rather than later.

I went for Kalou. I cant believe he was taken off when he was our most effective and dangerous player barring Malouda perhaps? Woeful use of substitutions yet again.

Malouda, because he is the only player on the pitch that dares to try to do something with the ball. And is able to do it(that eliminates Kalou).

Agreed. Malouda has got good form last games. But I voted for Paulo! :)

Even though he was hugely to blame for the goal?

He was indeed, but that cross should NEVER have come in the first place. They were just looking at him, admiring his Nikes or something.

I also thought Turnbull may have done better, though perhaps im being picky.

In general Paulo has been ok these past few weeks, far bigger issues in the team right now than him id say.

HOW ARE KALOU AND FERREIRA GETTING VOTES? :D

ARGGGHH!

:D

Agree about the Anelka substitution though, utterly baffling

Sturridge (for not telling Carlo what he thought of him) as there wasnt a None of the above. That substitution summed up his managerial performance today, woeful along with the players who are under him.

Kalou has been ineffective! Cant see how one could think he was good today? Anelka at least got an assist and Drogba a goal.

my vote is drogba......everyone should say thank you to him for keeping us in the race.

Voted for Ivanovic. He was alright while on the pitch, and his replacement, Paulo, f*cked up big time and cost us three points.

Lampard once again was awful. Big disappointment.

I honestly couldn't pick one. Drogba scored the goal but I am often left with the feeling he could have done more, even when he scored. Kalou played well, epically relative to the way he usually plays, but still didn't do a whole lot. I thought Deco played well but he wasn't on the pitch long. I was tempted to give it to Ivan for his gutty performance but he didn't actually contribute much.

I abstain

People are saying Kalou and Mikel...really?

I must be missing something, I thought they were two of the worst players.

As for MOTM, no one stood out in the slighteset.
