December 31, 201014 yr Found this on You Tube my first "away" game ........... they used to charge 50p for kids to get in but doubled it to a £1 for this game .Dixon's first is a cracker I´m really pleased to see this, in fact the first time since the match. It was due to be on TV but a strike by techicians or something like that put paid to it being broadcast. We had great support that day, not the numbers from the matches in the 70´s but still huge. December 31, 201014 yr Wee Pat on the wing, Dixon up front! Amazing I didn't even know they had the Cardiff v. Chelsea game on video. Amusing to watch the crowd in the background moving between the various sections. That was a lively day off the field.

January 4, 201114 yr Rougvie, hated a tackle (and a headutt by all accounts) but I love the comment in the Man Utd game from the commentator "He's certainly a formidable figure. If he were a scarecrow not only would he keep the crows away, but they'd bring back the corn the took last year!"

Police Escort to the ground and a pub full of Cardiff to the right as we entered a massive park ! As we got closer to the end of the park all we could see was about 500 some with blue n white some not, no-one knew if they were Cardiff or Chelsea - next minute our 30 charged 'em, i jogged at the back - 'kin maniacs !! Ends up they were all Chelsea, never 'bin so relieved all my life! We were in the open end, Cardiff to our right, Combat / nazi stuff all game if I remember rightly, kicked off all over the place.

Sure it was this game ..............

Anyone who was there please explain!! Yep. Chelaea are on the open terrace to the left. At the start of the match a mob of Cardiff showed up in the Main Stand near the away end. Bad move by them because there were loads more of us not only in the seats but in the paddock in front. If you look at the top left of the picture at the start of Part 1 of the series, you can just about see the aftermath of the aggro as Cardiffs mob got attacked from two sides and ended up getting cornered at the back of the stand. They had to be rescued by plod and as you can see they had to be taken out via the players tunnel and pitchside. The home fans on the big side terrace at first thought they were us and loads charged down to the corner to abuse them, haha. Later as the game went on and we went 0-3 behind, more and more of our lot started moving into the Canton Stand behind the goal. When we scored there's Chelsea celebrating on three sides of the ground. And to think Spackman had a goal disallowed not long before the comeback started. Great day out in the rain.
