Posted June 17, 201113 yr Couldnt find a topic about this one but as its raining mad outside today I decided to "buy" this game and give it a try - never ever played it but heard its supposed to be one of the best of all time... Started playing some this morning just to try it out and currently just on the first mission but I like it and trying to play it stealthy - how good is this game really? is it worth finishing it?
June 17, 201113 yr Its an outstanding game, gets better and better as you play through it. A lot of modern games owe a lot to Deus Ex. And it is definitely worth finishing. One of my favourite games of all time.
June 17, 201113 yr I completed this for the first time a couple of months ago and it blew my mind. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, and it only gets more ridiculous as you go on. I recently forced several of my mates to buy and play it and they are similarly absorbed. Truly one of the greatest games ever made.
June 17, 201113 yr Author As its pissing down outside ill probably play some more, currently only on the third mission but its really good so far actually, amazed how the gameplay is so good as well considering its pretty old!
June 17, 201113 yr Worth playing now as the next one is out in a few months, and it looks pretty promising. Hopefully better than the last one which was a bit of a let down.
June 18, 201113 yr The word Deus is Latin for God. It's pronounced Dayoo. I have a metal detector called a Deus, it's top of the range.
June 19, 201113 yr What platforms is it available on? Original was only out on PC but I think it was ported to the PS2 eventually. The 2nd game, Invisible war, was released on PC and Xbox. New one is gonna be on everything I think.

June 21, 201113 yr There's no doubt that this comes from geeky pedantry, but how did the maker of this screenshot manage to get all his/her augmentations and the plasma rifle on the first level? My memories of the first level include running out of torch battery and hitting people with a crowbar.
