Yeah, this all looks very gruesome. Authorities have confirmed at least one death and thirteen injuries. Allegedly a support beam was hit by a crane which caused the whole structure to collapse.

To get some idea of the injuries:

Apparently, two are critically injured. I work for a large infrastructure project myself, and I have seen how awful these accidents can be. People just come to work, and all of a sudden everything changes.

Bloody hell, well someone is going to be in a lot of trouble over this, imagine how they must be feeling now?

Not nice at all, more tragic for the victims and for their family.

One of the critically injured builders died of his injuries yesterday. He was 24 years old. The first victim was 31. There are now 6 people still in hospital, but their condition is reported as stable.

The investigation now focuses on the sturdiness of the new roof. Experts say that no support beams had been put into place (yet), necessary to stabilise the construction. Despite that, the score board had been put into place, its weight proving too much for the insufficiently propped up roof. But so far it's all speculation.
