Always been a Fifa guy. Still I used to think PES had advantages in some areas like game play, and maybe being more realistic. But now I think Fifa has caught up in those areas, so its really a no-contest for me.

I'm still stuck on PES 6 myself. I haven't played a new PES game since 2008 and have never really taken to the latest FIFA games, despite their popularity and unquestionable improvement on the older titles.

Pro was always better until the first PS3 release.. they didnt really do much to that version and so a lot of people moved to Fifa who threw everything at that first game. PES has since caught up and overtaken again I think

FIFA was absolutely terrible around 2005-2006 and then started getting better, but I think FIFA 10 was the first that was clearly better than PES. After that I haven't played either of them.

Fifa has eclipsed PES on so many levels now in my opinion. I think it's come to the point where you can't compare the two any more. Fifa 08 was the big change and it's got better every year where PES hasn't had really anything to shout about.
