Thought Luiz played well, thought Mikel played well.

It has to be a defender or goalkeeper, seeing as we did nothing up front all game.

Thought Mikel was only the only one from our midfield who could have counted himself as having a good game last night. Good games - Luiz, Cahill, Cech, Mikel.

Torres did put in the effort but he was our centre-forward and rarely looked like scoring or creating an opportunity for himself. In truth Citeh had a 2nd string centre-back pairing in Richards and Toure, and he didn't really trouble them much.

Really close call between Luiz and Cahill for me, it shows how bad the midfield is when the two centrebacks are close for MOM...Mickel again done quite well but those who slaughtered AVB for not starting Lampard and Essien at Napoli surely must see that they can't be guaranteed starters or even relied on to be effective subs, Rotation has to be the name of the game with these players although I'm not totally convinced a run in the team wouldn't help Essien...just don't think we can afford to give him the time.

I voted Luiz, he was solid for us and his improvement over the past couple of months has been brilliant.
