Still feels surreal

I just still can't believe we won the CL. Reminds me of 05 when it never has and never will sunk in that we won the League.

I've heard lots of people saying they are getting teary etc but I'm just still in shock, can't quite believe we are European Champions. Not that I'm complaining

Never really hit me either. Obviously I was happy when it happened, but I was expecting a post-Barcelona-like feeling but to last for longer...but it never materialised. Odd.

Seems like a dream to me still.. Not just to win it.. but in the fashion we did, being written off even in the last 16, then to beat Barca and Bayern who were massive favourites. Still expecting to wake up and it be the morning of the 19th.. I had surgery the night before and discharged myself early so I could see the match, perhaps the anaesthetic is still kicked in :D

The Barcelona game was the climax for me because it was supposed to be impossible for our bunch knackered old mercenaries to knock out the Best Team in the History of Football . After that, everything else that happened just seemed like fate.

I was there and i keep watching the game over and over and still get the same emotions. When they score I'm down and then we score and I'm up, Robben pen I'm down he misses I'm up and the pens well it feels just like it did in the Allianz EPIC!!
