They have a better striker (RVP or Rooney), apart from that I would take the rest of Chelsea's team over theirs. They are not the force they once was and have a great feeling we will beat them by some margin on Sunday. They do not like coming to Stamford Bridge and haven't won here in 10 years I think it is?

We are definitely going through a transition period and matches such as Shakhtar highlighted that. However the difference is that our transition period, unlike other clubs (cough cough Arsenal) still has us as a highly competitive team and in this case a serious contender for trophies. However with such a new style of play being introduced along with a new breed of young talented players we certainly are a club in transition and the fact that this is us in transition bodes very well for the future!!

Yeah United seem to think it's something they can exploit. FFS they don't have a clue. I think they'll score but see us winning. 3-2 to us.

To be honest, I really wouldn't mind being knocked out of the league cup. I don't even think it should exist. I would take a win in the PL and a loss in the LC ANYDAY.

I still like the league cup and hope we progress not only because its still adecent trophy to win despite all the egg cup talk and its importance when compared to the FA cup the CL or the Title but because it gives opportunities and hope to some fringe players and for the Manager to try some different things.

I hopw we go all the way in it and would like to see the likes of Ceasar and Marin get some game time.

As regards the league match its true we are a team in transition and UTD are not to be taken lightly, they'll be therabouts come May and regardless of the dodgy defending at times they still have some quality players that will be well up for slowing down or transitional rollercoaster...a draw wouldn't be terrible at this stage but a win will really show us as true contenders and boost confidence after the other night.

I see us beating them but I don't think it will be easy. 2-1 or even 1-0 is on the cards I should think.
