She was on skynews this afternoon as well, she posted on here briefly a while back.

Funny i had the same thought myself today, what good pr it would've gave the club for them to help her out or a player(s) who some of which she knows to have dug deep, they proberly earn in a min what it wouldve cost her to go today.

That is not support, that is an obsession. I did home and away games in England for many years, but never managed one season when i got too all the matches.Real life gets in the way in the end. The least they could have done for her is get her out there. She has devoted her life to the club. Since the european  years she must have spent a fortune.

i went 4 yrs without missing a game that was hard enough back in the

early 90s even then only missed my first game as my son was born seriously ill.

i was lucky back then as my mate drove us to loads of aways

so was cheaper, also we'd go for the whole weekend & do other games, we had Oldham away but went on the friday & done Stockport v Wigan, stayed in Bpool then on the way home on the sun done Wolves v Bham lol

Also done Gers twice & Le Harve that season.

We worked it out we done about £3k each that season with travel/food/booze/b&bs ect

It would be nice to think that atleast one of our players would see a story like this and actually go out of their way next time something like this happened to do the right thing, its not even like they would feel the financial loss FFS.

After all like it or not if it wasnt for the supporters *and by supporters i mean true lifelong go to every game type ppl not the corporate assholes that pick and choose* they would be packing bags in asda like the rest of the uneducated.

Anybody know, remember two Chelsea supporting girls?looked like twin sisters black long hair and always had blue and white ribbons tied in their hair in the eighties/nineties.  Maybe it was only me who noticed them?  Used to see them East Stand area.
