Figured a few people might want to discuss the Italian Serie A over the course of the season, especially with Milan having Essien, Torres and van Ginkel and Cole over at Roma.

Juventus and Roma went toe-to-toe today. I would say the two sides are nigh-on equal so it's no surprise that it took some individual magic from Bonucci to secure the win for Juventus. Roma looked almost as likely. 

I saw Ashley on the bench. I haven't been paying much attention, has he played yet, or even started a match?

He had started in four of their league matches before today and played in their match against Man City in mid-week. Maybe Rudi Garcia didn't think that Cole had the legs to play two big games in a week?

After scoring in a 1-1 draw with Fiorentina today, Nigel de Jong (a player who is not renowned for his scoring and only scored 1 league goal in over 100 PL appearances with Man City) has more league goals than Torres does this season. 

 

Wow and to think it was Chelsea's fault that he had such a horrible strike rate? Or because our style didn't suit him and that no striker would be successful with our style? Glad those myths are being dispelled this season.

as i said many times i'm an as roma fan,

the match against juventus was awfull,they stole us the match

we should have won 2-0

i wanted to have an objective opinion that was out of italy,where we divide in pro juventus and against juventus,

I've got a funny feeling Inter will win the derby tonight, The new manager effect tends to rub off in the first few games and with it being a derby I can see Inter having the edge.

they're obviously playing better than in pre season,but anyway not so strong to reach the third place,they'll battle untill the end for EL i think

Tough start for Mancini, Milan derby tonight then away to your boys next week, If he can get 4 points from those two fixtures, I see no reasons why he can't get them finishing 3rd.
