Chelsea 4 Spurs 3

Featured Replies

I just thought I'd post this classic, from 1994, another big scoring game, but we came from behind to win the match, Mark Stein scoring the winner:

Look at the empty seats in the East Stand.  With the lack of a North Stand at that time it must have been one of the worse Chelsea/Spurs crowds ever.  I remember being in the Shed and not even knowing where their fans were.  Then they scored and about 200 of them jumped up in the Upper East.

a lot of spuds boycotted the game as we were asking I think, £25 a seat.

Scandalous :laugh2:

Remember this game very well as it was in the first season that we started going to matches regularly. One of the highlights of a season that actually had quite a few despite us hovering around the relegation zone for a fair bit.

Andy Gray has changed a bit though.

Other than the East Lower the rest of the ground was pretty full if I remember correctly. Spurs were in the East Upper.

your right, I was at the top of the East next to the spuds and there was no segregation. A few fans from each side were ejected for over zealous celebrating. Was only my second or Third game.
