Another shambles in the life of Rangers!

As far as I can tell Warburton and his team were down south earlier this week and had words about the Forrest job....they knew they were for the off at Rangers in the near future so offered their resignations, the Forrest job never materialised and they tried to get their agent to take back the resignation but as soon as the board caught wind of the situation they accepted it. 

I now expect a mud slinging match in the media between King and Mark while legal action is no doubt mentioned. 

Billy Davis or Alex McLeish are the favourites so far.

This is the statement from the club. All a bit messy. Hopefully it will be sorted out without not too much cost to the club. I'm going to spend a bit of time looking on the Follow Follow Forum to see the reactions of the bears on there. Will be interesting to see and hear the reaction at Ibrox tomorrow. One of my cousins is going to the game. Will contact him tomorrow to ask what it was like.

@Boyne what's Follow Follow like? I'm on the Bears Den but I've stopped contributing to it because there are too many foul-mouthed nutters on it. Seems most folk spend their time abusing others on the Forum and what's the point of that?

@carrickblue Follow Forum is good although saying that it's the only 'Gers fans forum I've signed up to. Can get a bit heated on occasions. Some good posters e.g. the Earl of Leven. Just had a look on FF and someone has suggested hiring Walter Smith until the end of the season. Would steady the ship but would Watty want the job? Am no sure. it reads like an honest account of events - what do you think? I think the end of the line for Warburton was approaching anyway, this is a messy way for it to end. I appreciate what Mark Warburton achieved for Rangers but the club needs a change to take it further.

@carrickblueAgree it is an honest and clear of events and what the board was/is hoping to achieve. Good that the statement was issued so quickly. As the statement says Warburton was using the Rangers job. If he or his agent sounded out Nottingham Forest it didn't help his case. Read earlier the the English League Managers Association is recommending that Warburton, Weir and McParland sue the club for wrongful dismissal.

If the Chelsea game wasn't on TV I'd go up to the White Bear pub in London (it's where London based Rangers fans watch the games) to see the match against Morton and hear what Bears have to say it all.

Will be interesting to see who gets the job in the long-term. McLeish or de Boer?

Unfortunately I couldn't watch the game as had to sort out a few things at home. Good that the 'Gers got a result at their place. Hopefully give them loads of confidence. I think that one of my cousins was at the game. Will ask what he thought of it.

It was a tough encounter but we showed a lot of fight to hang in there and get the draws.Caxinha was there. He looked a bit non-plusses by the Old Firm. I don't think Benfica v Sporting Lisbon would be much of a comparison.

Thanks. Just watched the highlights. Waghorn had a couple of good chances. Yes, something special about an Old Firm game. Have been to a few over the years.

Pedro Caixinha? He won a Liga MX title with Santos Laguna, but Liga MX is a lot more even than the SPL. It will be interesting to see how he goes.

While the odds seem stacked against the Gers tomorrow, a repeat of last year's result would be fantastic. Come on Rangers.

Have been trying to work out where in Larkhall this photo was taken. Can't recognise any of the faces. Was hoping that one of my cousins would be in the picture.

this has got to be one of the worst performances from a Rangers side for years - we don't look like we want to take them on at all even when we have the ball
