Completely shat on today...long way to go in the season but Barton, kranjcar and ponderous looked like the premier Lge rejects they are...so slow and  Celtic looked quicker to the ball throughout

I agree. I feared something like that might happen today. At least it's absolutely clear what the gap is between the two sides. I think after the Cup semi there was a false sense of expectation among a lot of Rangers fans.

I always thought winning the title would be a tough ask...cup win suggested gap was closing but nothing more...if it was rangers of old, spending cash (they don't have) on big name signings, then they could build a squad to challenge...but rangers are shopping in the bargain basement and rightly so as they must not make same mistakes of the past...it's still a rebuilding process, so If they compete near the top this season, I'll be happy

Me too. Hindsight's wonderful but watching Barton, Ponderous (I love that lol) and Krancjar you have to wonder if Warburton would have been better getting more young players in than trying to buy experience. It's early days. I was at the 6-2 defeat in 2000 which was followed by a 5-1 win for us in November. Here's hoping there's a similar turnaround this time.

We know better than anyone how sh*t ponderous can be in big derbies..not given up by any means, can't wait for rangers to take them on at ibrox...revenge Will be sweet

Watched the game at the White Bear pub in Central London. The place was rammed with Rangers fans. Great atmosphere just a disappointment about the result.

Thought Senderos was poor. Bad attempt at a tackle for their second goal and what was he doing for his second booking. Kranjcar was taken off before being sent-off. I would have played Halliday and Forrester from the start: two very good players. Was impressed with Garner. Put in a great shift.

Carrickblue, the SFA will do nothing about the banners at Parkhead. As The Brit has said, roll on the game at Ibrox. And sweet revenge. And still a re-building process. If they finish in the top four and win a cup and get a place in Europe I'll be more than happy. WATP

Celtic fans hanged dolls with Rangers scarf on them :smiley_crazy:

Best fans in the world those bhoys....

It's not clear if these are meant to be "executed" Rangers fans or whether on World Suicide Day this was targeted towards the family of ex-Ranger Kris Boyd whose brother took his own life.  Whatever it was supposed to suggest it was pretty distasteful but as usual Celtic fans escape criticism from the media, a bit like Liverpool fans they can do no wrong.

Sadly, the SFA will do nothing about it. Celtic has issued a statement to say that they will investigate but can't see them doing anything. It would be nice if the MSP in whose constituency Ibrox is located but Sturgeon won't say a thing.

A bit rich for Rangers fans to be kicking up a stink over it, though...

For some reason the photo you posted won't open for me but I guess it's one of the damage done to the toilet block at Parkhead. I agree, totally idiotic behaviour. Apart from the senselessness of the damage itself, it'll be Rangers that pays for the repairs. Just daft.

Agree about the toilets but it's a pic of Gers fans with sex dolls in business suits with an anti Whyte/Murray/Green banner.

I first saw sex dolls in a football context in a picture of the Dortmund-Schalke Revierderby, Schalke fans dressed one up in Dortmund colours and hung it up in the stands. Raised a chuckle.

I don't see the point in slagging a club off for something they've done themselves, just let it be.

Is it true that the clubs used to have an informal policy of not publicising the damage done to each other's stadiums and just bunging each other a bit of cash for repairs whenever things went awry? Makes sense, but could only last so long in this age of social media.

Rangers and Chelsea suffering from the same disease these days, that's 5 games on the trot that Rangers have conceded first.

I thought we deserved something today maybe even a win but that last minute free kick was a killer.

Time to dust ourselves off and move on.

Was a soft goal to give away. Agree that the 'Gers deserved something from the game. Waghorn had a great chance in the second-half. Gutted with losing at the end. Don't even think it was a free kick.

Very sad news. Puts football into perspective. Thoughts with the family and friends of the 'Gers fan who passed away. And with those who were injured.

Just bought a few of the Rangers Supporters Erskine Appeal badges. Very classy. And supporting a wonderful cause.

I honestly did believe we'd beat them today and it was a sickener to lose to an 87th minute goal but on the upside, we showed that the gap between us and them isn't really all that great. Definite improvement on the 5-1 fiasco but then we've learned our lesson with Barton who only came for the money. We'll have more chances this season. WATP

Good result for the 'Gers yesterday. Needed that after recent results. Now 2nd in the table. One of my cousins is a ST holder at Ibrox and sent me a few photos from yesterday. As it's the club's last home game before Remembrance Day they marked that occasion in the appropriate way.

I hope that artillery is pointed towards the away end.

Poor result v the Jambos in midweek so the Gers need to bounce back against Aberdeen. They let themselves down in the League Cup final so two teams with something to prove. Should be a good game.
