Great picture too.Seriously!

Indeed. I've seen plenty of pictures and videos of the build-up and from the pitch side but few few from behind. The build-up was brilliant and what a great side.

There was another brother, Tom who went on to play for Rangers. Larkhall Thistle, one of Scotland's oldest football clubs. One of my cousins runs a cafe in Larkhall and is one of the team's sponsors. One of our ancestors was a founder of the team.

Edit: the one of the cuttings is about the game against Stonehouse. A local derby.

I remember Tommy McLean being manager of Greenock Morton during 1983/84.  Then Willie McLean, being their manager for the following 1984/85 season!

Both also managed Motherwell.

Scotland’s Tommy Younger and England's Bryan Douglas at Hampden in 1958.  England won 4-0, in front of a crowd of 127,874 !  Probably add 10 - 12,000 to that for the truer crowd. Match was shown live on bbc.

Cathkin Park, Glasgow. Home of Third Lanark.
Sadly they went out of business in 1967.

Boyne.Some difference from this picture.

Indeed. A big difference. I love the way the club retained the Main Stand with a few changes e.g. the Club Deck. A good mixture of old and new.

Would love to go up there for the 55th title but sadly that won't happy. I'll have to have a few whiskies and beers at home!

The brothers together. Here's a challenge: post pictures of siblings, parents and children who have played top level football.

Brothers Colin and Tom McAdam The McAdam brothers. Colin who played for Rangers and Tom who played for Celtic.

They were, amazingly, in direct opposition for a few seasons in the early - mid  1980s!
