1970 European Cup Final at the San Siro. Feyenoord vs Celtic. Ove Kindvall scores an extra-time winner.  It was the floodlights and scoreboard that caught my eye initially.

Caine, Pele and Moore are to be recast in an Escape to Victory remake.
The Sampdoria top is not unlike the Allies one in Escape to Victory.

One of the greatest ever Rangers teams.

The captain being lifted with the Scottish Cup Eric Caldow was, according to my old man, way ahead of his time.

He was an attacking skilful left back with lots of pace.

Not the typical full back in Scottish or British football back in the early 1960s.

Derek Parlanes dad in the middle row.

The only father and son duo (I think !)to both play for Rangers and to both score against Celtic.

The football trivia I can remember....😀

Taken in the mid to late seventies. Some great players of that time and from the sixties. Some of those from the sixties have put on a few pounds. Slim Jim doesn't look so slim. Must have come from running a pub!

John Greig Rangers Pony Trap© DC Thomson

Boyne. One for you.

John Greig at Ibrox in a pony trap. ‘The Championship Celebration Game’ v Airdrie in late April 1975.

Greig admitted later his legs were shaking for the first 15mins of the game, after his ‘Ben Hur’ impersonation.😀

Apologies if I be posted this photo before.
