Not a good day for the Scotland team. The joke went around: "What's the time? Nine past Haffey." Different two years later when Scotland beat England 2-1 at Wembley . Both of Scotland's goals were scored by Slim Jim. Both sides were reduced to ten men when Scotland's captain Eric Caldow and England's Bobby Smith went off injured. Days before substitutes.
