Good shout re Home Internationals.😀 I’m 57, so they were part of my early football education. I’m not remotely a Scottish Nationalalist in any shape or form. But as a youngster, I loved the build up to the Scotland v England game and wanted Scotland to win.

February 14Feb 14 The legendary Scottish referee, ‘Tiny’ Wharton ‘laying down the law’ to these Celtic players. I’m not sure if the Celtic No 10 is being booked or sent off! There is a great story about ‘Tiny’ Wharton sending off a player for ‘Foul and abusive language!’ The player pleaded that ‘Tiny’ had misunderstood his language. This being due to the player having left his false teeth in the dressing room before the match. ‘Tiny’ simply, but firmly told him. ”Now you and your false teeth will be reunited in the dressing room! Off !!”😀
