We sometimes played ‘penalties’ on the ‘wee pitch’ directly below ‘our pitch’!

If the ball went over the fence, it was a long way down the hill to get it!

I wasn’t kidding when I said earlier ‘our pitch’ was built on the side of a very steep hill!

These Celtic players look very disappointed after losing on penalties last night,

News of this result, has just reached a certain Battery Sgt Major.

Who, it has to be said, didn’t show any signs of sympathy!😀

Looks like Hampden Park. Not sure of the year but probably in the sixties. Rangers playing Celtic.

Home Park is set in a public park. However, significant work was carried out in 2014 with a rail put around the pitch, fencing around the ground and a small enclosure built beside the existing changing rooms. 2020 saw the installation of floodlights. Capacity of 1,000. Coldstream F.C. play in a royal blue strip.
