Capacity 1569. Main Stand seats 100.

I must go and watch a game there.

They play in the Lowland League of Scotland.

From the game at Ibrox. Rangers won 2-0. Great atmosphere, great day out. Two superb midfielders in the picture.

Southampton the Dell top. It says Burden park Bolton Wanderers bottom. I thought Hull had the railway at the back of the terrace?

England won 4-1.

A great player for Rangers. Willie Johnston (Bud) Only played 22 games for Scotland. But as has been discussed before there was a lot of very talented Scottish players e.g. Cooke, Nevin, Cooper, Johnstone, Wilson and Henderson who played fewer than 30 games for their national team. A waste of talents. I guess that the only possible defences for the Scottish Football Association are that that there were fewer games and competition for players. I can only think of one game when Cooper and Nevin played together for the national side.

The first one is indeed Southampton. The stand well the elevated areas were called the Chocolate Boxes.

Due to proximity I used to see quite a few games at the Dell. I actually was there, in the Chocolate Boxes when John Dempsey having been signed from Fulham made his debut in 1969? We lost 5-0 !

I was also at that game that we lost at the Dell 5-0 too ! Also saw us lose 2-6 to them at the Bridge. Osgood scored an absolutely wonderful goal for us that day to make it 1-3 I think , but the whole team ran to congratulate him , Ronnie Harris actually beckoned players to join him around Ossie. . In Ossie's book he described it as the best goal he had scored up to that time , implying that there were better ones later.

There's a Pathe News reel on that game too, but it's " licensed", can't seem to upload it . Some excellent English passing moves and shots of the enormous crowd.
