    I think you're right about it being the Copland Road and the old Centenary Stand. Trying to work out the flag by the floodlights. A Union Flag or the Scottish Saltire?

    Scotland v England,  20th May 1978 .

    England won 1-0 with a goal in from Steve Coppell

    An England defensive wall during this match. Forming up, with Ray Wilkins No 16 in it.

    Peter Barnes, Trevor Francis and Tony Currie (?) the other England players. The Scotland player looks like Bruce Rioch but I could be wrong. I watched the game on telly and remember that there was a big send-off for the Scotland squad before heading out to Argentina. Not a good tournament for Scotland with the exception of Archie's brilliant goal. Bud Johnston sent home and that inspired the chant: "We're on the drugs with Ally's Army."

    Correct about Tony Currie and it's Kenny Dalglish who is Scotlands no 8.

    Squad numbers were worn I think through this Home Championship.

     Ray Clemence wears 12 in the highlights and he played the full game in goal for England.

    Thank you for the correction. I didn't recognise Dalglish. I'm going potty in my old age. Two good sides that day.

    The other looks like Ray Wilkins to me.
