May 3, 20206 yr 'Celtic fans show their appreciation of Kidd in a banner display to honour their class of 1986.' The other Celtic striker that day in May 1986, was a certain Mo Johnston. Johnston wasn't 'at all popular' with the Celtic supporters . Massive understatement. He joined Celtic's Glasgow rivals Rangers, after being virtually signed again by Celtic. So they've replaced Johnston with Albert Kidd https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36186819 Full story here about picture, if you're interested.

Am guessing that the photo was taken in at least 1989 the year that Johnston moved to Glasgow's finest. I am. of course, very biased! I remember Hearts missing out on the title and the pain their supporters felt. Of course 1986 was also when a certain Graeme Souness joined Rangers. Looking again at the names above I have to say that Danny McGrain was a fine full-back.
May 5, 20206 yr Couple of Scotland international tickets from 1977. £5 for the Wales game, was a lot of money to watch the football back then.

May 8, 20206 yr Some amazing work of the fans all across Europe, my favorite is Real Madrid's "one to rule them all" Gandalf image; Really impressive this one from Poland! Crazy Russians as usual Very pretty, maybe the best I'm not sure. Bayern with the Clockwork Orange theme... This one was towards PSG, an arabian with his camel searching for the Champions League title I found it funny, it says there down "looking for something?" and on the other stands is some random year and the trophy itself. Real Madrid fans with some cool stuff, you would expect Real Madrid fans to be posers but they are pretty good. My personal favorite, "A shield to dominate them all" Knights of honor... Really nice. Without a doubt the best fans in Sweden...
