Peter Osgood when he played for Philadelpia Fury.

 

Jim Montgomery was reserve keeper for Forest in 1979/80.

So won a European Cup and European Super Cup winners medal.

Both those keepers played for Saints at some time. Couldn't have happened to too many pairs of goalies!

Had forgotten Shilton later went on to play for Southampton !

So I researched it, mean I googled it

It was Sc**thorpe Utd's Steve Cammack, Div 4 Golden Boot winner in 82/83,

With 'King' Kerry Dixon and Gary Lineker.

Indeed. A great player. Must have helped the younger players. Ray played for a few clubs and I reckon the two he had the most affection for are Chelsea and Rangers. He had great taste. Will always be fondly remembered for that cracking strike against Celtic in the 5-1 win over them at Ibrox on 27 August 1988.

The one I think I know in the front row, Derek Statham, Peter Ward ? Gary Owen, Kenny Sansom, Steve Williams ? John Deehan ? Glenn Hoddle ? Graham Rix
