Kenny Dalglish needs few drinks to help him when wearing a jacket like that.

Kenny's jacket looks similar to the one that Arthur Montford or was it Archie McPherson. Looks like a kipper tie he is wearing. As for the lady at bar, looks like she is wearing the Scotland kit. She has very nice legs!

Good shout.

Thank you. When I first saw your picture the face of the manager looked familiar so had to look up the list of Clyde FC managers. He had a bit more hair back in the day. I reckon he did a good job as Scotland manager. A couple of other people look familiar. Will try and find out who.

West Brom  60,945 v Wolves – On 4 March 1950, at The Hawthorns, in Div 1.

The crowd was 60,945  !

Just liked the photo because the keeper is about to throw the ball out, with the huge packed terraces in the background.

Football broadcaster Arthur Montford dies, aged 85 - BBC NewsJim Arthur Stock Photos & Jim Arthur Stock Images - Alamy

The legendary Arthur Montford. Scottish TV Football Commentator and Presenter.

Famous for his 'loud' sports jackets.

Here he is with a young Jim White. yes, he of Sky Sports News fame.

Arthur would throw in classic comments during commentary.

"What a stramash !"  " Up go the heads."   "Disaster for Scotland".    "Sensation ! "  “What a goal, from an impossible angle.”

"Argentina, here we come! " Just after Kenny Dalglish had scored Scotland's second goal in the World Cup Qualifying Final Group Match at Anfield 1977.

Also memorably. "Watch your back Billy ! and "Go on Denis !" when in commentary v Czechs at Hampden, Sept 1973.

A great unbiased commentator, apart from during Scotland Internationals.

Willie Johnston and Alan Ball playing for Vancouver Whitecaps in the NASL in the late 1970s.

Can remember Saints playing a friendly against Vancouver in the late 70's.

Alan Ball played one half for each side and then had an American style shoot out after full time!

Willie Johnston at Vancouver Whitecaps.

On this day in 1979, 5th May.

Willie Johnston famously took a swig of beer from the crowd before assisting on the winning goal in a 2-1 win over San Jose.

“I believe it was a Scotsman that asked me if I was thirsty as I was taking the corner,” remembers Johnston. “And I was, but the beer was really warm.”

World Cup Spain, July 1982.

Brazil v Italy

Respective captains Socrates and Dino Zoff exchange pennants, at the start of this classic  game.

A match I will always remember, best team I've ever seen, then Paulo Rossi came along and spoilt it all.

Kerry Dixon (left) and Gary Lineker

Chelsea's Kerry Dixon and fellow England forward Gary Lineker of Leicester shared the Division One Golden Boot in the 1984-85 season.

Think they may of shared it in 1990 as well?

GRAEME SOUNESS SOCRATES BRAZIL V SCOTLAND BRAZIL V SCOTLAND ...Brazils Socrates takes on Scotland at the 1982 World Cup (5856621)

Brazil v Scotland 1982.

'Socrates 'running the match'  or that should be 'gliding gracefully through it' .

That 1982 Brazil team were a joy to watch.

Think it was Graeme Souness talking about the Brazil 4-1 Scotland Group Stage Game  said: " We scored first and it just annoyed them !

Or as someone else said: "Scotland scored their consolation goal first that night!"

My old school team mate has just scored the winning goal at Wembley.

David Hopkins for Palace in the 1997 Play Offs.

We, as kids in Scotland, dreamed of playing and scoring the winning goal at Wembley.

David Hopkins went and did it !
