Fifty Years ago today, Brazil beat Italy 4-1 in the World Cup Final. Here's Brazil's last goal. Still one of the best I've ever seen.

Billy Rafferty and fellow Scot Martin Buchan in action. Wolves v Man Utd 1978.

Billy Rafferty was 'a man of many clubs' in England.

From Plymouth in the south to Carlisle in the very north and many in between.

Yet never to my knowledge played a senior game in Scotland.

He was a 'Bosman Player' 25 years ahead of it's introduction.

Billy Rafferty was and still is, a friend of one of my Uncles,

It's Ascension Island. I found the picture the other day and was surprised that there was a pitch on the Island. Also found that there are six teams use it. Most of the players are workers at the RAF and USAF bases. 

If they did play away games I guess they would have to go to St. Helena!
