A true pioneer, without whom there would be no 2 tone.

One Step Beyond, the tune we play after some CHelsea wins, is a Prince Buster song (we play the Madness cover).

 

Horrible news, he was a genuine legend. R.I.P.

Madness covered a couple of his songs including the track 'Madness'.

I like this as an acknowledgement of his influence:

To me, maybe it is my generation ( I still wear some of the clothes ) Ska is the music of the Chelsea fan ....  Liquidator is a ska song ...... And this man was the pioneer of this music
