May 2, 20188 yr With De Bruyne, Lukaku, and now Salah’s success consistently a hot topic of conversation on the forum due to the fact that we sold them before they found that success, I’m curious as to who you all would think we could target ourselves, in the pool of players who have not found initial success in the Prem? One that jumps to mind for me is Memphis Depay, he was terrible at Man U, but has been decent for Lyon. Granted, he may not be best suited for our squad, but as I said, he was the one who sprang to mind for me. What other players are out there that we could buy that could come back to this league and produce for us?
May 3, 20188 yr Martial being the obvious one, he has a lot of talent and IMO he only needs the right manager to turn him into a world class player. I know he’s still in the premier league, but still.

May 3, 20188 yr Thauvin is tearing up Ligue 1. Getting towards the number of goals and assists Hazard did in his final season over there. Problem with he and Depay is they aren't players who put in effort off the ball. Luis Alberto is doing well at Lazio now too. If we move to more of a 4-3-3. The other player who has done well since leaving is N'Zonzi at Sevilla. Bossed United in their CL tie.
May 4, 20188 yr Bertrand Traore is not a bad shout at Lyon. 11 goals this season in 24 starts is a decent return.
