How dare you, wee pats innefective games where due to him deciding to give other Chelsea players a chance to shine.....

I can actually remember a few games (mostly early in wee Pat's Chelsea career) when Canners outshone him. After the Newcastle game though there was no contest.

Kevin Keegan said “ that winger must have glue on the end of his boots”

” Pats got glue” me mate kept saying with a grin on his boat

Its always worth remembering that the Newcastle team we destroyed that day included Keegan, Terry McDermott, Peter Beardsley, and Chris Waddle among others.

Like all good wingers Hazard goes through spells where he is less effective. Even Pat Nevin was ineffective at times.

Pat needed a bit of breather sometimes, playing on those pitches and evading waist high challenges.

Your absolutely entitled to your opinion and make valid points re predictability and under performing players. I do think however he’s entierly governed by the players at his disposal, and has the advantage over me, you, and every other armchair critic in that he sees players train every day and you’d like to think has has a good handle on every players respective ability.

Just think we ought to give the geyser a break. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Problem is all managers are stubborn to some degree and Sarri is defiantly showing examples of this. The points I raised are the most common discussion points on this forum, they are also points every Chelsea fan I talk to agree with and even Chelsea fans I meet for the first time talk about. At the end of the day every manager makes mistakes and as a fan you just hope he learns from them and can move us forward.

Sarri hasnt really shown any adaptability in his management yet, same team, same subs, same formation, same lineup, same way of playing. It's to easy to predict for the opposition, it's just teams like Arsenal and Spurs are more likely to punish you. IMO if Sarri was really that pissed at his players then why not make 2 subs at halftime?, a f**k you to the players to say your not happy and I'm the boss. That's more of a wake up call than just playing the same way and making the same automatic subs even Arsenal knew was happening a week before the game was being planned. Would any of us been surprised if there was a sub at halftime? We was shocking.
