April 10, 20197 yr This morning I spoke to one of the guys I go to the games with and he told me that he had a rumour that sometime in the future but not sure when that it would no longer be possible to view Chelsea TV via a Sky feed. Instead, you'll only be able to watch it over the Internet. I assume that this will only apply to viewers in the U.K. Has anyone heard about the changes to watching Chelsea TV. I watch Chelsea TV over the Internet as don't have Sky at home. I haven't been able to find any information on the Chelsea and Sky Sports websites. Thanks for your help.
April 10, 20197 yr To be honest, it's been sh*t for a few years now. I still watch it online, but it's a shadow of what it used to be. Whether it's being removed from Sky or not is news to me.
April 10, 20197 yr I’ve had Virgin for ages so stopped watching. I’ve heard there aren’t any live games now for the U23s and youth, is this true?

I don't watch Chelsea TV as much as I used to and have considered cancelling my subscription. My mate did say that there are no live games for the U23s and youth.
April 11, 20197 yr Used to enjoy watching the Youth Cup games and some other stuff on there but it's simply not worth having now - just constant re-runs of old games and club legends that you've seen 100 times before.

I think these fan channels would be better as Youtube channels these days.
April 13, 20197 yr It’s a shame. It has the opportunity to be so good. Documentaries and live games would help. Guess it’s all down to money/Subscribers etc.
April 17, 20197 yr Author https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2019/04/17/chelsea-tv---what-is-changing?cardIndex=0-1 Chelsea TV will be going fully digital, on-demand and subscription-free to all fans on Monday 1 July. That means the channel will cease broadcasting via Sky and paid-for online subscriptions on that date, but the great news is the club’s video content will be made available with no subscription needed via this website and on The 5th Stand, our official app. Chelsea TV shows will be accessible on-demand whenever you want to watch. Live matchday programming, press conferences and select live games will continue to be available to stream online. With The 5th Stand now at 1.8 million app downloads, never before has Chelsea video been so readily available to fans in such an easy-to-view form. In recognition of the changing ways in which supporters consume content, we want to ensure our loyal and dedicated fans can watch the best Chelsea video content in the most accessible manner. We will have a mix of daily news and features, live matchday shows, game highlights, full match replays, classic encounters and select live games, including Women’s and Academy matches, on our digital platforms, enabling us to deliver the best experience to all our supporters. Current Chelsea TV subscriptions will continue as normal until Sunday 30 June, when they will be cancelled and the cost removed automatically from the subscriber’s bill. Those affected by this change are Chelsea TV Sky subscribers in the United Kingdom and in Ireland, anyone subscribing directly via chelseafc.com and subscribers who view the full channel via an international broadcaster. The three-hour international programme block hosted by some international broadcasters will be unaffected.
April 17, 20197 yr Was only a matter of time. The way it went downhill, the subscriptions must have been at an all time low.
