The Brit Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 we were embarassing two years ago...just treated it like a normal league game and were humbled by passion of liv fans at anfield as much as it hurst me to say it...well there's no excuses now...pool think that we have no passion, we're not as good as pool fans...i don't believe that, I have been to some corkers at sb, I just think we were a bit cocky, blase maybe as we were dominating the prem...anyway, everyone going to the game shopuld read this and let liverpool know that they are wrong and give them hell http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002 ... 93,00.html
just Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Here, here. Was at the Bridge two years ago and couldn't believe how passionless it was. I have no reasons as to why that was. To be fair the crowd has never been anywhere near that bad before or since for a big game. Everyone who is in the ground or on the streets outside on Wednesday, it is our duty to sing, no scream, the team onto victory. For the entire 90 minutes it must be nothing less than a hate filled cauldron for Liverplod and their supporters. I'd like to see the whole ground standing as well for this one. If you have someone sitting next to you who is not giving 110 % vocal support ask them to get up and make some noise. If they still silently sit there, tell them, (in no uncertain terms), exactly what you think of them.
Guest Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I'm really looking foward to this, I really am - again I'm another Liverpool supporter, sorry to 'pollute' this forum with another red as some of you might say.. . Anyway, I really appreciate it when other fans, no matter what club make a great spectacle of the game - so I hope you guys can make this a game to remember for us, not only on the pitch but in the stands too - where hopefully we'll be hearing great vocals from both clubs.
andy Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I agree completely with Just and The Brit. For the vistors to our site.....we are still the best away supporters by a long long way and always have been.... we just have a problem at the Bridge sometimes and this is due to fans being priced out that has been debated many times on this forum. (I have to say there has been some improvement recently though) It will be an amazing tomorrow. Carefree
c3blu Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 The atmosphere was'nt what it should have been probably because we had been in the semi's the season or 2 before and it was that 2bob scumbag outfit that used to be good many many many many many years ago and we expected to beat them because we were and still are 10 times better than them. Football though as one Chelsea legend put it is a funny old game and throws up shock results(greek euro champs etc). The atmosphere will be much better tomorrow although i feel our long slog of a season is going to play into the also rans hands.
bennyboy1976 Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I can almost guarantee that the atmosphere will be electric tomorrow night, starting from about 5pm in/outside the Pelican for me.

Lets not forget last time we met them we we're about 6 points off winning our 1st league title for 50 years!! Then won it away to Bolton the following weekend. Could have our minds been elsewhere?
Loud and Proud Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 We'll smash it this time though. All this bollox talk about 'the mighty kop' and Chelsea's sh*te atmosphere really gets on my t*ts. Every Chelsea fan going to the game will be well up for it.

Your a knob mate! get a grip mate, its a bit of banter, i havent insulted your family. It the the semi final of the european cup, of course you'll be up for it, anyone who isnt just isnt a football fan. I have been a mess today and i'm not even going.
just Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I never ever wear colours or take scarves etc to football matches. Tomorrow I will be making an exception. I will be getting a flag, (with the original club badge on), out of the loft and taking it up there. If we can do them, with no Essien and possibly Carvalho, it will be a truly fantastic result. I got my ticket for the 2nd leg today.

True, theres always a few of them. I think last time Chelsea fans just didn't wake up to the fact we were in the semi-final. TBH it felt like a league game.
The Moos Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I'll be sitting on my couch in Sweden. But you might still hear me in England if/when we score
Elliott Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Exactly what this article is about: MAKE ALONSO EAT HIS WORDS! For those of you who are lucky enough to be there tonight, lets have The Bridge ROCKIN'!
Tim Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I love how Alonso and L*verpool think they have our number, and that Rafa outhinks Jose, based pretty much on the CL game last time, where they managed one 'goal' over 180 mins, and the win this season at Anfield when our squad resembled a scene from Platoon. Head to head, Jose wins by a mile, but for some reason they, and preditably the media, think Chubby is some sort of jinx for us??? Quite frankly, f*ck him and f*ck them, there is only one Special One and he will show it AGAIN tonight.
