Hi all, not sure if someone has begun one of these already. But I saw it on a site for another club, and they asked people their player ratings for games, then took averages and then judged them at the end of the season.

 

Like I said someone may have done this on theshedend before, but if not, although the season has already started. Thought it may be good to start one now. Rate each out of 10

@Scott Harris used to do a MOTM thread but he’s slacking this year  

Having a MOTM thread is pointless now to be perfectly honest, what with Hazard gone and Kanté back from injury.

I remember years ago referring to it as the "Mikel of the Match" That was when you had 42 profiles.

You can do a lot of cool analytical stuff with it though. The most interesting from the one I gained inspiration from was definitely seeing which users were more favourable/unfavourable to particular players as opposed to averages. And also you can compare players' performances across different seasons etc.

I'd have him over Jorginho. 

When you've watched us over the last two years and have seen that enormous gap in front of our centre backs, have you not just thought 'that is exactly Mikel-shaped'?

Indeed the gap does resemble Mikel given that by it's very essence a gap could be described as a waste of space.
