yogic
It wont be ours this season. Cant see Manu lose 2 games - unless City crush them or Tevez pulls a Maradona. Great effort all season, given our problems. Lets get the FA cup and Champions League and make it a season to remember.

Scott
How many times do I have to say this: It AIN'T over yet! With all respect Moos, if we can't hold a lead at home to Notlob and the Mancs can come back from being 2 down at Everton, the league's over for us mate. It's not the mathmatics that says so, it's the form of the two squads. And with Riccy out, the 2 cups will be a struggle.

yuliastar
Sure, there may be hope when it comes to the mathematics.. But being realistic, its all over. We don't deserve the title, we won't get it. Fair enough. Let's hope all is not lost in the FA Cup and Champions League now.

Englishman
We can always hope so long as there is a mathematical chance, but realistically it's over. It's the same with Leeds. They aren't mathematically relegated yet, but to survive they need to win by about 12 goals in their last match!
canbeas
if man city beat man utd and chelsea beats arsenal then there are only two points between the teams before the game at stamford bridge. and if chelsea will win, well then chelsea are one point ahead of man utd. it's far from being over. german-blue
Now a few hours after the match I have to say I changed my opinion a bit. Its not over yet, still 2 matches to play and the match at the bridge against them. Enough time for them to drop 3 points
The Moos
I have to say that I'm disappointed in many of you all. You call yourself supporters? As soon as we lose a game you all (most anyway) start talking about us not winning the league and JM must be sacked etc. etc. Never give up. Does it look dark for us now? Of course but it aint over. I'll say it again: I T A I N T O V E R! So pull your thumbs out of your a*se and say "hey, we f*cked up today and slipped behind some, but it's still some games left!" Not that long ago we were many points behind (what was it, 9 points?) and several in here started complaining that we were screwed. It was all over. ManU would win the title and we would be lucky to win anything. Suddenly we're back in the race and just a few points behind and people here started to say that we were putting ManU under pressure and that we still could win it. Then we fall behind again and yet again people start to give up. Are you true blue or not? So come on! Show what you're made of! Pull that thumb out of your a*se and keep cheering for the best bloody team in the world!!!

I am new on this forum, but i was following all the post?s here. chelsea had a verry difficould season, with lot?s inguries, and then the talks about Jose and Abram, was not verry easy to take this. I am watching every Chelsea match, and i see sometimes, when the other team is in front, there is not the propper support, because the fans are shocked or what ever, but this is exactly the time when they need support at all! I could never say who?s fault it was today, it was just strange that Jose didn t put Boulahrous in! thats all!

That's a lot of ifs. No you're right, it ain't over til it's over. But when you drop points as unnecessarily and as unexpectedly as we did today, it doesn't exactly fill you with confidence, now does it?

The Brit
nothing wrong with staying optimistic, but when you see things go the way they have for utd and against us for most of this season then the writing is on the wall...sure they have played better footy but they have had a lot of luck too...today's game they were flat and then everton keeper drops a simple cross to get them back in it and then a former untied played scores an own goal...like the scousers in the champions league two years ago, there has been a feeling of their name is on the trophy...sure we can mathmatically still do it, but utd's belief will be as strong as ever now and I can't see them losing two of the last three...time to focus our energies on the champs league ourselves
loz
I have to say that I'm disappointed in many of you all. You call yourself supporters? Are you true blue or not? Just worth pointing out that coming to the conclusion that Utd are going to win the league this year is not a lack of support for Chelsea, it is simply facing up to what you perceive the likely outcome is. If we were the worst team in the league and I accepted that we were fit for relegation I would still be a supporter! So come on! Show what you're made of! Pull that thumb out of your a*se and keep cheering for the best bloody team in the world!!! Says the Juve fan! Well, the 2nd best then. But you've got admit it doesn't sound as good saying "keep cheering for the 2nd bloody best team in the world!". I'm probably a bigger Juve fan than a Chelsea fan but only because I've supported them a couple of years longer than I have supported Chelsea. I follow both teams as much as I can. So there isn't much difference between the teams for me. As for the "lack of support". If you were supporting the "worst team in the league" and immediately thought that they would be relegated then I would say that you are one strange supporter. Even if the teams chances are low you should still have some faith. Okay if you feel that it's going to be almost impossible (one has to realize the reality) but to say that there's no way, that's going a bit too far if you ask me. As it is with Chelsea we are 5 points behind ManU with 3 games left which means that there's still 9 points to play for. One of the games is a do-or-die situation because we face ManU at home. Are the odds against us? Certainly. But is it that impossible for us to win the title? Of course not. Unless I'm mistaking we have to face Arsenal, ManU and Everton while ManU has to face ManC, Chelsea and West Ham (right?). Can we beat Arsenal away? Difficult game but, yes! Can we beat Everton? We've done it several times before so, yes! Can ManC beat ManU? It's a derby so, yes! Can West Ham take points from ManU? Not likely, but you never know. Let's say that we beat ManU. That leaves us 2 games to gain 3 points (probably since they will beat us in goal difference). We have all to win and ManU has all to lose. if they drop points against ManC then they will be under pressure facing us and if we beat them everything can happen. So don't so darn quick to give up on our team. It feels as if some people give up everytime we drop a point and that really annoys me to be honest. Loz, can you honestly think that there's not a chance in hell that we can win the title? I for one hope that I can send Lucifer a christmas card at the end of the season wishing him good luck skiing
Guest Brian M
It's time to introduce a new saying into the football lexicon: 'Football is a game of four halves' ... Two of them in our game. Two of them in the Everton v Manure game. Bottom line, Manure have won the title. But... 1st. 1st. 2nd is a three year record every other team in the league would kill for. Plus, I think Milan are going to turn Manure over in the CL. And Liverfool will lose in front of their '12th Man'. So it's up to us to win the CL and the FA and make this a season to remember. With, sadly, the EPL being one competiton too many. Couple of comment I'll make on those people bagging out JM for 'losing us the title'. Firstly, that that is a complete load of bollox. And secondly, if he's guilty of anything it's of agreeing to a SMALLER SQUAD at the start of the season. Because it's THAT decision, more than anything else, that has hurt us.
