Reece's goal galvanised us, but if Thiago Silva hadn't saved us a few times, we would have hidden ynder the dressing room bences and stayed there until we could sneak out under cover of darkness.

Really missed that quality from Reece, the goal was as brilliant as it was cheeky.

Was great to see our attack click for most of a half for a change, however I vote Silva. Man just oozes class in every regard.

I used to really enjoy watching Maldini play. Brilliant defender and leader. While we don't get the benefit of a full career of Silva being here we do get the benefit of this truly once in a generation talent who simply loves to defend, lead and looks after himself so professionally.

I think I have to agree.  The attackers and wingbacks get all the glory but Silva quietly keeps Chelsea in every match.  And that was certainly true from the first half against Burnley.
