May 9, 200718 yr that's the line-up...what a first start at sb for sinclair...against utd...good luck kid
May 9, 200718 yr I hope Carlo's up for it. It's been a while since he played. Even if we couldn't win the Premiership, we've still got a chance to break Liverpool's record for going undefeated at home in the league. Not that it's THAT important, but it would be nice. It'd be ne page less in their 'history books'...
May 9, 200718 yr carlopaulo essien jt bridgey maka mikel diarra sweepy kalou scotty Be good to see Sinclair start. The team below is the one I went for in the BPL (so 9/11 right) as I thought Sahar would get the nod ahead of Sinclair. I had Boula picked as I didn't think his suspension would kick in yet so it either has and he is out because of it or it hasn't and he is in the bad books! (1) Carlo (2) Bridge (3) JT (4) Boula (5) Geremi (6) Essien (7) Mikel (8) Diarra (9) Sahar (10) SWP (11) Kalou
May 9, 200718 yr Or because he is a joke! Great to see Sinclair start but i have to say im unsure about the midfield - Maka and Diarra ? Hows that going to work ?
May 9, 200718 yr Man Utd team - Kuszczak, Lee, Brown ©, O'Shea, Heinze; Eagles, Smith, Fletcher, Richardson; Dong, Solskjaer. Going to be an interesting game this, looking forward to it. Strange to think how different it could all have been tonight though!
May 9, 200718 yr Interesting to see what formation Jose will go for. Maybe Maka and Diarra will both play in the center just infront of the central defenders...take a little load off of Essien's shoulders. He's not all that comfortable as a central defender. Maybe the rest will form a diamond infront of Diarra and Maka with Mikel at the base of the diamond.
May 9, 200718 yr Shoot me if you like .. but. In a way I hope we don't win tonight and against Everton, and that they don't lose their final game against the prats from pikey park. Because if we win two and they lose two, that means that IF it was still 2 points for a win, we'd be champions.
May 9, 200718 yr Shoot me if you like Because if we win two and they lose two, that means that IF it was still 2 points for a win, we'd be champions. I'd rather win all our remaining matches and keep our unbeaten home record, than worry about how the league might've finished with a different points system.
May 9, 200718 yr I'd like to get that home record. We have to avoid defeat in 2 more games right? The current record is held by Liverpool and would be very difficult to beat so it would be some small consolation after they beat us in the Champions League. Anybody know who is on the bench tonight?
May 9, 200718 yr Any reason we can't have both? No reason...it just might be better to go into the FA Cup final on the back of two wins than a run of several draws.
May 9, 200718 yr We have to avoid defeat in 2 more games right? We tie Liverpool for the record if we don't lose the remaining matches, so we need to start our next season with at least a draw from our first home match to break their record. No idea about the subs.
May 9, 200718 yr Any reason we can't have both? No reason...it just might be better to go into the FA Cup final on the back of two wins than a run of several draws. Oh we can do that .. but remember my little hypothetical scenario also depends on the Mancs losing at the weekend. And yes I know I'm showing my age and I know that if that were the case both team's selection tonight would be completely different. But still.
May 9, 200718 yr I think the system where you get three points for a win is better. BTW: Substitutes: 40 Hilario, 14 G?r?mi, 33 Nuno Morais, 10 Joe Cole, 47 Ben Sahar.
