So, I don't mind admitting, I think we face several weeks of "squeaky bum" time. I am truly concerned about the League position and although I know we already have 39 points and 40 is the Holy Grail for (sh*te club) survival, will we actually make it? I probably need some reassurance, and hope I get some in your responses. I list below the remaining games, with my expectations of results, so let me know your thoughts;

Arsenal Away Loss

Brentford Home Draw

Bournemouth Away Loss

Forest Home Win 🙏🙏🙏

City Away Loss

Newcastle Home Loss

So 4 points from 7 games, but that should be enough 🙄

I genuinely don’t know. That statement itself is a terrible summing up of the current mess we are in! 

Oddly enough, I said exactly the same thing to a work colleague yesterday afternoon.

Chelsea could take 0 points and still not go down.

7 points from those remaining games, beat Bournemouth and forest and draw with Newcastle! 

9 points for me , Brentford , Bournemouth and Forest then for a huge reset next season .

Arsenal don't win league and City don't win Champs League ...

With Lampard in charge I'd be surprised if we get more than 5.

 

The most winnable game is probably Brentford, as both Bournemouth and Forest will be fighting for their lives by that point. 

 

So a 40-45 point low mid table season most likely
