May 1, 20251 yr The signs people hold in the video are about the impossibility to get a match ticket and the club pretends with digital tickets everything is bright and sunny again. Sigh.
May 1, 20251 yr I'm traveling from Texas in hopes of attending the Manchester United game on May 18. The currently available tickets on the Chelsea site are outrageously priced. Is it worth the membership fee for one game, with hopes that the Ticket Exchange would have two tickets? What would the average prices be if the Ticket Exchange had tickets?

This is a category AA game, and highly unlikely that they will ever get to general sale in any meaningful quantity. The price of ticket exchange tickets is pro rata of the season ticket price. So it depends on where you would get to sit. So for example, Matthew Harding Upper is £950 for the season, divided by 19 home games, equals £51 ish per ticket. Cant comment on the likelihood of getting 2 together as no experience of this.Good luck, and safe travels! If you do get tickets, sing loud and proud.

Some other stuff, will have to get round to reading it.
June 5, 20251 yr The Chelsea Supporters Group ( CSG) website have information regarding tickets...I can't find the club statement on the official site ? . There's some good things the club have apparently done regarding junior ticket prices...Below is a couple of things CSG have highlighted."The rise in the Concession age from 65 to 66 as of July 31st 2025.– The Match Ticket Exchange no longer facilitating supporters to sell their ticket for its face value price, instead receiving online credit which can be used for future ticket purchases "

I received a message from a friend of mine yesterday and he is going to miss out on the new concessionary age by three weeks. Another friend sent me a message and she told me that he son who is under 23 will have a 25% reduction on his ST and pay less next season than this season.

As for providing proof of a medical condition to allow a person to move I wonder if the club is legally entitled to see such information. I understand the need to provide information about a medical condition to an insurance or travel company but a football club. Think I'll write to the club and ask if they are allowed to ask for such information and how it is stored under data protection laws.I know what you mean about the South Stand at Kingsmeadow. With my dodgy knee I try and get there about an hour before kick-off so I can lean against a post or barrier. Very different from the Bridge when I get to my seat about five minutes before kick-off.

I did actually go through the online process with my doctor's surgery before last season to request a letter and explained in detail why I needed it . Got no reply until months after the season started, they asked me if I still needed a doctor to consider my request !!

May be a while yet before we can apply. Wouldn't surprise me if the concessionary rate is scrapped.

Just noticed that we won't get money back for tickets we sell on the exchange anymore , it's held bythe club for future purchases and cup games etc for seniors only get 25 percent reduction instead of 50%.I'd like to know how much extra the club will benefit from this Scrooge like approach Luckily I pass on most of my games via the exchange and he sticks the money in my bank. .. have they messed around with that too ? Not sure when it was posted on the website. As for the tickets on the exchange my understanding is that if you use it you won't get the money but rather a credit for when you want to buy a ticket for a cup game. If I can't go I'm hoping to give my ticket to a friend or family member through the friends and family system. I'll need to check that I can do that. I mentioned above that the son of one my friends is under 23 and will pay 25% less. He and his cousin who is also under 23 went to renew their ST and were charged the full rate because the ticketing website had the wrong date of birth for the two of them. They've had to send ID to the club to prove their ages. That is worrying and I wonder how many other people have been affected. I know the club is trying to combat fraud but I wonder how widespread the fraud it. Strikes me that they are making a mountain out of a molehill. All in all it's a f**king shambles. And the club wonders why supporters are angry. https://www.chelseafc.com/en/ticket-prices-menSeason Ticket Prices 2025/26AreaAdultSenior 66+Junior U20Youth U23East Upper£1,095£545£545£820East Lower Family Centre£700£350£350£525West Lower£1,055£525£525£790Matthew Harding Upper£1,030£510£510£770Matthew Harding Lower£880£440£440£660Shed Upper£1,030£510£510£770Shed Lower£880£440£440£660Match by Match Prices 2025/26Category AAAreaAdult MemberAdult General SaleU20 / Senior MemberU20 /Senior General SaleU23 MemberU23 General SaleEast Upper£78.00£83.00£39.00£44.00£59.00£64.00East Lower Family Centre£52.00£57.00£26.00£31.00£39.00£44.00West Lower£78.00£83.00N/AN/AN/AN/AMatthew Harding Upper£71.00£76.00N/AN/AN/AN/AMatthew Harding Lower£66.00£71.00N/AN/A£49.50£54.50Shed Upper£71.00£76.00N/AN/AN/AN/AShed Lower£66.00£71.00N/AN/A£49.50£54.50Restricted View East Upper£52.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ARestricted View MH Lower£27.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ACategory AAreaAdult MemberAdult General SaleU20 / Senior MemberU20 / Senior General SaleU23 MemberU23 General SaleEast Upper£67.00£72.00£33.00£38.00£50.00£55.00East Lower Family Centre£48.00£53.00£24.00£29.00£36.00£41.00West Lower£67.00£72.00N/AN/AN/AN/AMatthew Harding Upper£66.00£71.00N/AN/AN/AN/AMatthew Harding Lower£60.00£65.00N/AN/A£45.00£50.00Shed Upper£66.00£71.00N/AN/AN/AN/AShed Lower£60.00£65.00N/AN/A£45.00£50.00Restricted View East Upper£52.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ARestricted View MH Lower£27.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/Category BAreaAdult MemberAdult General SaleU20 / Senior MemberU20 / Senior General SaleU23 MemberU23 General SaleEast Upper£61.00£66.00£31.00£36.00£46.00£51.00East Lower Family Centre£43.00£48.00£21.00£26.00£30.00£35.00West Lower£61.00£66.00N/AN/AN/AN/AMatthew Harding Upper£60.00£65.00N/AN/AN/AN/AMatthew Harding Lower£55.00£60.00N/AN/A£41.25£46.25Shed Upper£60.00£65.00N/AN/AN/AN/AShed Lower£55.00£60.00N/AN/A£41.25£46.25Restricted View East Upper£52.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ARestricted View MH Lower£27.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ACategory CAreaAdult MemberAdult General SaleU20 MemberU20 General SaleU23 / Senior MemberU23 / Senior General SaleEast Upper£52.00£57.00£26.00£31.00£39.00£44.00East Lower Family Centre£52.00£57.00£26.00£31.00£39.00£44.00West Lower£52.00£57.00£26.00£31.00£39.00£44.00Matthew Harding Upper£52.00£57.00£26.00£31.00£39.00£44.00Matthew Harding Lower£52.00£57.00£26.00£31.00£39.00£44.00Shed Upper£52.00£57.00£26.00£31.00£39.00£44.00Shed Lower£52.00£57.00£26.00£31.00£39.00£44.00Restricted View East Upper£45.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ARestricted View MH Lower£26.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ACategory DAreaAdult MemberAdult General SaleU20 MemberU20 General SaleU23 / Senior MemberU23 / Senior General SaleEast Upper£47.00£52.00£23.00£28.00£35.50£40.50East Lower Family Centre£47.00£52.00£23.00£28.00£35.50£40.50West Lower£47.00£52.00£23.00£28.00£35.50£40.50Matthew Harding Upper£47.00£52.00£23.00£28.00£35.50£40.50Matthew Harding Lower£47.00£52.00£23.00£28.00£35.50£40.50Shed Upper£47.00£52.00£23.00£28.00£35.50£40.50Shed Lower£47.00£52.00£23.00£28.00£35.50£40.50Restricted View East Upper£41.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ARestricted View MH Lower£24.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ACategory EAreaAdult MemberAdult General SaleU20 MemberU20 General SaleU23 / Senior MemberU23 / Senior General SaleEast Upper£42.00£47.00£20.00£25.00£31.00£36.00East Lower Family Centre£42.00£47.00£20.00£25.00£31.00£36.00West Lower£42.00£47.00£20.00£25.00£31.00£36.00Matthew Harding Upper£42.00£47.00£20.00£25.00£31.00£36.00Matthew Harding Lower£42.00£47.00£20.00£25.00£31.00£36.00Shed Upper£42.00£47.00£20.00£25.00£31.00£36.00Shed Lower£42.00£47.00£20.00£25.00£31.00£36.00Restricted View East Upper£35.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ARestricted View MH Lower£21.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ACategory FAreaAdult MemberAdult General SaleU20 MemberU20 General SaleU23 / Senior MemberU23 / Senior General SaleEast Upper£35.00£40.00£17.00£22.00£27.00£32.00East Lower Family Centre£35.00£40.00£17.00£22.00£27.00£32.00West Lower£35.00£40.00£17.00£22.00£27.00£32.00Matthew Harding Upper£35.00£40.00£17.00£22.00£27.00£32.00Matthew Harding Lower£35.00£40.00£17.00£22.00£27.00£32.00Shed Upper£35.00£40.00£17.00£22.00£27.00£32.00Shed Lower£35.00£40.00£17.00£22.00£27.00£32.00Restricted View East Upper£29.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ARestricted View MH Lower£18.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ACategory GAreaAdult MemberAdult General SaleU20 MemberU20 General SaleU23 MemberU23 General SaleEast Upper£28.00£33.00£14.00£19.00£21.00£26.00East Lower Family Centre£28.00£33.00£14.00£19.00£21.00£26.00West Lower£28.00£33.00£14.00£19.00£21.00£26.00Matthew Harding Upper£28.00£33.00£14.00£19.00£21.00£26.00Matthew Harding Lower£28.00£33.00£14.00£19.00£21.00£26.00Shed Upper£28.00£33.00£14.00£19.00£21.00£26.00Shed Lower£28.00£33.00£14.00£19.00£21.00£26.00Restricted View East Upper£23.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/ARestricted View MH Lower£14.00N/AN/AN/AN/AN/A
June 9, 20251 yr Author I received an email the other day from the Chelsea Supporters Trust (CST) asking me to complete a survey about the new ticketing system. I don't know how many CST members are on this forum but I think that @Munkunku is. Questions in the survey included asking about the change to the concessionary age; the introduction of the under 23 ticket; the split between members and season tickets for away matches; the changes to cup competition tickets for concessionary discount will change from 50% to 25% and do I believe that all the money from sales of season tickets and memberships will go to the club. In my responses I mentioned that I found the change of concessionary age very unacceptable as most organisations give concessionary rates at either 60 or 65. I don't think the club should be any different.. I belong to a number of societies - mostly historical - and they offer concessionary rates at 60 or 65. I know as I benefit from the reduced rates. I think that the introduction of the under 23 rate is a good idea as the youngsters are the future of the club. As for the split for away tickets I'm not sure as I reckon which ever system is in place will be unpopular with some. I mentioned that I thought the change to concessionary reductions for cup games was unfair. I'm probably being a cynical old bastard but I don't believe that all the money from ticket sales will go to the club but I guess that could be dependent upon definition of club. For me the money should go on player purchases and staff costs - staff costs include playing and non-playing staff - and not to the board and corporates. Hopefully the club will publish full accounts so we can see how money is spent.I commented that whilst it is good that the club is trying to combat fraud but I stated that is it a wide-spread problem. Is the club making a mountain out of a molehill? I don't like the idea of not receiving a payment if I need to sell my ticket but rather receive a credit. I'm not interested in a credit. In the past if I couldn't go to a game I gave my ST to a friend or family member - and most of them are ST holders or members - and people I can trust. Finally I commented by asking if tickets will be given to tourist agencies as there is no guarantee that Chelsea fans will purchase them. It may be just people who want to experience a game. We've all seen them at matches. Hopefully tourist agencies will no longer receive tickets but I suspect they will.On a related issue it's still not clear from the club website if I can transfer my season ticket to a friend or family member and I will contact the club for clarification. At the same time I'll ask about whether or not the club is legally entitled to ask for medical information and how that will be stored securely under data protection rules.Apologies for the long post.
June 9, 20251 yr Author Can't recall if already posted. It looks like it will be possible to hand over a ST to people in a friends and family account - see my post above - which is good news. Club representatives included president and chief operating officer Jason Gannon, chief strategy officer and head of business operations James Murray and chief digital officer Phil Lynch.Hosted by Fan Advisory Board co-chairs Neil Beard and Tracy Brown, club officials presented the journey to digital ticketing and the importance of the transition to ensure the club can provide the best fan experience for all supporters.play videoVideoDigital Ticketing Town Hall🎟️ Club officials present the journey to digital ticketing and the importance of the transition to ensure the club can provide the best fan experience for all supporters.During the town hall, representatives of multiple supporter groups were taken through why the club is moving to digital ticketing. The club’s aim is to ensure that we have a fair, safe and modernised approach to digital ticketing which in turn will create an enhanced matchday experience for fans.Club officials explained the ‘how’ of digital ticketing including the functionality and the support that will be provided for supporters to help them through the transition. They explained that all ticketing functionality would be moving to the Chelsea Official App to make it simpler and easier for fans, with Ticketmaster as our new ticketing partner providing the platform. The benefits of digital ticketing were also discussed, including increased fan safety and convenience as well as it being a key tool for the club to clamp down on ticket touting. This is thanks to enhanced visibility for the club on who is attending matches at Stamford Bridge.Supporters were presented with the significant and holistic support that Chelsea FC will provide to guide fans through this change, as well as the bespoke and sensitive approach to those who may be eligible for an exemption from using digital tickets.Following this, a number of pre-submitted questions were asked and there was an open Q&A for those present.Summary of digital ticketing Q&AIn response to the following questions, the club’s responses were as follows:Q: Will there be one-to-one sessions available via video call?A: Yes, we will be doing online sessions to ensure that we have a wider reach so that we are accommodating for all of our supporters.Q: Some supporters will be anxious about the change and prefer physical tickets or may be unable to use digital ticketing. What will the club do to support?A: Any supporter who has concerns will be able to attend our workshops and webinars as well as having all the available information on the website regarding digital ticketing. We will assess supporters’ needs on a case-by-case basis and ensure that anyone who applies for exemption will receive an impartial and fair review process.Q: It is challenging to always attend every game and on occasion I pass on my season ticket to another fan, will this still be possible?A: Yes, there will be the ability to forward tickets for individual matches to people within the new system. We want to ensure, for safety and security purposes, that we are aware of everyone that is coming into our stadium and it is important that tickets end up in the hands of genuine supporters. However, we understand fans have reasons why they cannot attend all fixtures and we will provide a suitable platform and scheme to provide flexibility.Q: On occasion, there can be ‘bottlenecking’ at parts of the ground and the speed of entry is a problem. How will digital ticketing help?A: The QR code entry via your phone will be an enhancement on mobile or print-out tickets and you should see an improvement as fans adapt to digital ticketing. Throughout, our communications will continue to encourage fans to arrive into the stadium early and ensure our signage is appropriate to help way-finding at Stamford Bridge.Q: Will there also be test events at Kingsmeadow and how will it work for fixtures there?A: Due to the connectivity challenges at Kingsmeadow, we will need to take a different approach to our ticketing service in the short-term. We are still doing technical due diligence on the site and may consider a slower roll-out of digital tickets at Kingsmeadow, with both digital and physical options available for the 25/26 season. More information will be shared with supporters as the approach for next season is confirmed.Q: When will we be informed regarding the ticket pricing for next season?A: We will announce the pricing in early June after the end of the season and fans will have a similar season ticket renewal window as previous years. We will ensure that details for renewal are fully communicated to our supporters upon announcement. Please click to find out more information regarding the move to digital ticketing

Please click to find out more information regarding the move to digital ticketingThanks for those posts Boyne Got a call from my nephew to say that the friends and family section had changed and asked me to check if he was still on my account ...everything has changed, eventually got to it, it's now called " network"; There's a convoluted way to get to it , instructions are on the Chelsea website.

When the Chelsea Supporters Trust send out the results of the survey I'll post them on here. I noticed the change of the friends and family to network. Seems a strange thing to do but then network is one of the in words.I was at a party on Saturday and some of the people I go to the games with were there. In the past we've given our ST to others if we can't go. Now we'll have to make sure that we have everyone's details so we can transfer digital tickets. A bloody palaver.

June 18, 20251 yr I will renew my ticket-only membership, although why bother. It's more a no-ticket membersip the past few years.
July 9, 20251 yr Author I'm going to Stamford Bridge this coming Friday for a meeting about the digital tickets. I'm a member of the Chelsea Supporters Trust (CST) and the club offered a number of tickets to CST members. Hopefully there will be an announcement about how we can transfer tickets to someone else if we can't attend a game. I also hope to find out what the future is for season tickets at Kingsmeadow. As most of you will know I'm a ST holder for both the men's and women's teams. I'll let you know how the meeting goes.WATP

But it sort of makes you think you are buying the ticket ! After it was done it said " thank you for your purchase ! I thought oh no don't tell me I've cocked this up , but it's all been done ok My mate said it was confusing at first excepting the ticket too. During the process there's a bill pops up but with zeros where there would normally be the cost of ticket. Anyway, it'll be the game of the season now I'm not going ! 😂
