So you agree that you can win without having elite st if the goal come everywhere and you have very good defense.

Really? Come on... have you and others forgotten what it takes to sustain a title challenge... You need a good defence and good attack. We have neither... Hence the league position... I'm simply reading a lot of posts, including you, from people defending a bang average striker like he's elite. Over six seasons he's not pulled up any trees.

Like Gyokeres, the difference between our bang average striker and theres is that the Arsenal team is capable of defending and attacking as a team, they also have players who create and score all over the pitch. What do we have exactly?

Do you keep bringing up his Brighton and Watford years because if you had to judge what he's done at Chelsea you'd actually have to admit he's a bloody good striker?

Once again, you make this too complicated. In perfect world, I want 11 wc players, we will finish with 100+ points and win everything but that is not realistic.

Regardless what you think of Jp, who you rather have.

WC ST + Gittens

Or

WC winger + JP

WC winger... on his day, full of confidence, that's Palmer... from nearly 2000 minutes this season, he has one assist for Pedro v Leeds.

I said at the start of the season Gittens got a pass for me this year. Young player coming back to the Premier League from Germany, always thought there would be a struggle to adapt. Injury brought his season to an end. He, like a lot of players, really need to step up and perform, he owes the fans. the squad owe the fans.

Think we really need to see how Alonso gets on in pre season now, all players probably get a clean slate and can start again but there are a few I never want to see in blue again.

Saw this and thought I'd drop it here. Regardless of what we think of Jackson, he had a good relationship with Palmer and without that, Palmers form has also suffered. Anyhow, back to the cricket waiting for the world cup.

Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson have been one of Chelsea's most dynamic partnerships. In the Premier League, Palmer has provided 19 assists for goals scored by Jackson, while Jackson has provided 10 assists for goals scored by Palmer.

How many of those assists occur Jan 2025 - May 2025, the beginning of Palmer's inconsistency and Jackson's bafoonery?

Does it matter? You asked about having a WC winger and Pedro up top, we've had one supporting him all season (albeit in horrendous form).

I posted the Jackson/ Palmer simply for comparison.

Because if your argument is that Palmer and Jackson get the best out of each other to support your Jackson>Pedro narrative, I'll ask if any of those assists occur during the start of Palmer's inconsistency period to prove those stats aren't cherry picked.

Palmer has not once perform at an elite level for more than 1 game in a row since January 2025.

Sorry, dont make this more complicated than it needs to be. I have stated repeatedly on here, I dont think Pedro or jackson are good enough to lead our line. Others have celebrated Pedro's best premier league season, great, I think its an anomily, the player was also, it appears, loking for another club.

You asked about a WC winger playing with Pedro and I gave you an observation on that partnership. Palmer has one assist all season to Pedro whereas he didnt with Jackson. Now either Pedro and Palmer cant play together, they dont like each other, or Palmer is so out of form he shouldn't be on the pitch. Take your pic.

Enjoy the weekend bud..
