I have no issues with tapping players up, but the rules are the rules and Barcelona and Real Madrid seem to be exempt from them. They always say they're going to talk to this person and that person, but they never get permission from the club first. They know what they are doing, UEFA knows what they are doing, but they never get punished for it.

To be honest this is a very common thing outside of England, im pretty sure tapping up as defined by english rules doesnt even exist there.

It'd only ever a problem when between 2 English clubs

I've read on fb that Rooney thinks there is an agenda against CFC as Pedro's goal is not in the running for goal of the season, saying technically it was outstanding ( think the overhead kick goal).

Can't say for sure if that is correct yet Pedro is not on the shortlist which seems odd, he scored some wonderful goals.

With us refusing to sell them Pedro, and Atletico presently exposing Barca for their shady transfer practice, won’t be surprised if he starts the season as their CF.

Stats are dodgy as hell. Out of those 10 goals, half are pens. 6 goals v Qarabag & USG, 4 of which were pens. Half of his 6 PL goals were also pens. Definitely not a £70m player, what they will get is a road runner. 29.6 sprints per 90mins is insane.

They would have been better off signing Rod Stewart.

Or possibly Pat Sharp.

Wasnt just the goals though. Most metrics on there are better.

TBH, wasnt a fan when we were rumoured to be signing him when he was at Everton. Thought he would cost too much. He'll probably go on and be a hit in spain given the time and space he'll get.

Can you compare their PL stats? Or do you only pick and choose when Gordon is playing Qarabag and the likes.

Anthony Gordon looks like Clare Balding, just saying.

When he plays for England I often hear shouts of "Go on Clare!"
