I have no issues with the ads on here other than they are some of the worst if not the worst I have seen on any site across the internet and I have been using the internet since 1998.

When I say worst I mean the implementation of the ads they cover the screen constantly pop up new tabs without my consent consistently. The user experience is horrific.

If the ads were at they top, bottom and side of the site it would be fine.

I also work in Tech understand the need to generate ad revenue

The layout has been the same for years mate. Same locations, same formats. Far less intrusive than a few other football forums I've seen. There shouldn't be anything that "constantly pop up new tabs without my consent consistently".

Well I am getting exactly that experience with ads it opens new tabs especially on mobile

It's the best 30 odd quid I've ever spent. I go on rival teams forums and the ads melt my head. With the ad free (which works perfectly for me - no ads of any description) the site is perfect. Thanks Mod for all you do.

Ah yea that’s a one-off campaign, but it’s only to display once every 24 hours per IP or cookie. If you use the phone app, you don’t get the opening tab.

That one finishes soonish anyway.
