Posted February 2, 200817 yr Another couple of goals for him today. He's carrying that team in terms of attacking. Not just for the goals he's getting but just as importantly with his hold up and link play. Where would Le Arse be if Togo had qualified and the dreadlocked lurch had gone off to the ACN? Probably fighting Liverpool for that 4th spot.
February 2, 200817 yr its funny because despite his impressive tally of goals i am still to be convinced by him. i dont know why, maybe its beacuse he is an arsenal bar steward but i just cant help but think he is having a one-off season.
February 2, 200817 yr Manure are the same with Ronaldo scoring for fun. The wheels will fall off the wagon for at least one of those strikers before the season is out. But will it be enough?
February 2, 200817 yr Author You may be right BJD but he's doing everything right at the moment. Brian, I'm suprised you're not all over him like a bad case of herpes because he's very Zlatanesque. Very tall, great touch, good awareness, notches his share of goals. Works much harder than Zlatan though.
February 2, 200817 yr He and ROnaldo are head and shoulders ahead of everyone n the running for player of the season. If the title comes down to being won by just a point or two (wih us just missing out) you could easily argue that the difference was that we didn't havea player who truly excelled whereas both of them have done.
February 2, 200817 yr Author I consider him a better striker and a better person than Drogba I consider him a better striker than Basil Fawlty and JFH. And a better person than Roy Keane and Hitler.
February 3, 200817 yr I consider him a better striker and a better person than Drogba I consider him a better striker than Basil Fawlty and JFH. And a better person than Roy Keane and Hitler. no way could he compete with Basil with a bit of tree and an Austin 1100
February 3, 200817 yr There's only one Zlatan, Just. And he's going to be wearing a Chelsea shirt next season. Then we're going to have some fun debates me old china!
February 3, 200817 yr I consider him a better striker and a better person than Drogba I consider him a better striker than Basil Fawlty and JFH. And a better person than Roy Keane and Hitler. hahhaha

February 4, 200817 yr Adebayor's having a cracking season. No denying that. But I've not been impressed by Arsenal as a whole this season and don't reckon Adebayor will be able to maintain his scoring form. Hate to say it, but United overall look the business, despite being close to embarrassment down the Lane.
February 5, 200817 yr the most annoying thing about him scoring in the last couple of games, is that he shouldnt be playing. surely the fa should have banned him and bendnter for scrapping in the spuds game. they banned dyer and bowyer for 4 or 5 games i think.
February 5, 200817 yr its funny because despite his impressive tally of goals i am still to be convinced by him.i don't know why, maybe its beacuse he is an arsenal bar steward but i just cant help but think he is having a one-off season. Agree totally, i was never convinced by him... I'm not sure why. Maybe because he's not a "big name player" like Rooney or Drogba. If Rooney was playing half as well as Adebayor is this season, the press would be creaming their pants. On another note, am I the only one who doesn't think that Arsenal play 'beautiful football'? I think they play boring football.
February 5, 200817 yr after watching their last few games, they play alot of long ball football upto adebayor. very similar to the way we play with drogs. strange how the media seem to have missed that.
