Posted February 20, 200816 yr This is so sickening that I can not even express it in words. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article821937.ece
February 20, 200816 yr F8cking horrific! I really, really hope that it is not one of our lot that sent it to him. unfortunately, we are all aware (or should be aware) that there are small minorities of BNP or NF louts that follow many teams; Chelsea being one of them. I don't know who would have written this, I don't think that Chelsea fans would; are we really against Grant that much, or behind Jose that blindly!? I hope, for the sake of Lofty's blood pressure, that they don't track this back to merseyside
February 20, 200816 yr Sounds like a non-story to me! Where is the juice in the story, where is the racism? It just a wind up,sent by an absolute moron. I like the way the Sun generally wave their grubby finger at our supporters..... .... 'Avram got a lot of abuse at first, but that was from a tiny element and it had all but gone away' Whats that got to do with the price of fish?? People in high profile jobs get stupid threats like this on the odd occasion. Somehow I doubt his life is under threat! Its just some nut job with nothing better to do! Todays papers........Tomorrow's fish and chip paper.
February 20, 200816 yr I imagine it could have been sent by the North London scum that go by the name of Tottenham. An attempt to unsettle the Chelsea manager before our trip to Wembley maybe. The way the sun make out it came from Chelsea hands annoys me no end. If it was, why would they do it now? If a letter like that came from a Chelsea fan it would have been more likely to come a week after he was appointed our manager when the fans' emotions were running high.
February 20, 200816 yr If it had been sent by a chelsea "fan", why would he/she do it when he/she knew Avi was away in Greece for the UCL match? Wouldn't it be a bit more effective to do it when he would actually be there to receive the package?
February 20, 200816 yr Farking scum. I hope they find this bar steward and put him away for a long time as a reminder to other retards about the consequences of such actions.
February 20, 200816 yr these kind of people are just sick. i hope its not a chelsea fan. but im disgusted at the sun insinuating it is a chelsea fan.
February 20, 200816 yr Must admit, when my mate at work told me earlier that Avram has had a death threat, my first thought was.................Moos??? Joking aside, as Glory says, this seems pretty much like a non-story
February 20, 200816 yr Must admit, when my mate at work told me earlier that Avram has had a death threat, my first thought was.................Moos???Joking aside, as Glory says, this seems pretty much like a non-story Well if I would send a death threat (not saying I would) I would have used different words. I'd make it into a letter calling him far worse things than "jewish b*stard". And, come on, sending some white powder is so lame. If you're going to do this, do it full out and don't chicken out. Either you write a letter expressing your hate or else you send that and some real white powder. "Here's some non-lethal white powder. Scary, huh" Not sure who made the letter. I know some say that "it can't be from a Chelsea supporter" but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was sent by one of us. Fans can be very hard on their team and we all know that Grant is hardly the most well-liked manager Chelsea has ever had. I myself hate him and I'm far from the most "hating" person among us Chelsea-supporters.
February 20, 200816 yr They're reporting the package contained "white powder", I reckon it's our old friend Mutu what done it.

February 20, 200816 yr They're reporting the package contained "white powder", I reckon it's our old friend Mutu what done it. or Bosnich Or this Diego fella that visited Cobham the other week and had a chat with Av. He's been known to handle powders of some sort in his past.
February 20, 200816 yr Or this Diego fella that visited Cobham the other week and had a chat with Av. He's been known to handle powders of some sort in his past. beat me to that one Maksimov
February 20, 200816 yr I AM SHOCKED -- -- at how much of a babe his wife is. Wow. I have a whole newfound respect for Avram now. Good for you, Avram! Why do you always look so sad when you know you are going home to a sweet little number like that?!?
February 20, 200816 yr Manny I think you might change your mind, when you see the video of his bird knocking back urine on youtube.
February 20, 200816 yr In this age of terrorism (so to speak), any letter with white powder has to be taken very very seriously. Racist or not, the significance of what happened shouldn't be downplayed.
