Posted May 5, 200816 yr just watching the goals on sky from yesterdays games and scotty scored an fantastic goal, got a penalty and generally ran the defence ragged. id hate to see him leave, and im hopefull this loan season hes had will set him up for a 1st team squad position next season.
May 5, 200816 yr According to my mate who's a Palace season ticket holder he's changed their team and is playing really well. What I think we should do is let him stay at Palace another season if they come up to the Premiership, let him get some experience and play regular football then take him back and integrate him into the first-team squad. I'd hate to see him leave.
May 5, 200816 yr With the quality of our current first team wingers, I'd be willing to play him now. At least ahead of Malouda, that is.
May 5, 200816 yr From what I've seen from him, I wouldn't hesitate to give him a try next season. EDITED: Meant wouldn't
May 5, 200816 yr From what I've seen from him, I would hesitate to give him a try next season. I wouldn't hesitate. The kid's good enough.

May 6, 200816 yr I really like Scott and think he offers more than Malouda does plus I dnt think Kalou is doing anything amazing to keep Scott out of the team. I really want to see him get his chance next season and i think he would under Avram but if there is a change i think it will be another season on loan.
May 10, 200816 yr Author just a heads up, palace are about to kick of on sky and we will get to see scott play in a high pressure game.
May 10, 200816 yr a very good player without a doubt i thought he was a little easily knocked off the ball when he has played for us he's done well at palace he does give chelsea an extra attacking option if he isnt loaned out or sold
May 10, 200816 yr Hmmm...too bad they're not showing the match here on any channel that I can watch at home. I think Viasat or some channel like that should have it, but I'm not gonna bother going to the pub for this one.
May 10, 200816 yr just a heads up, palace are about to kick of on sky and we will get to see scott play in a high pressure game. Thanks for that
May 13, 200816 yr ... or don't! Can't say I've been too impressed with him in this match... That said, maybe everyone automatically goes naff when they play for Palance?
May 13, 200816 yr he showed flashes and no more...really seemed to tire quickly...can see why he was loaned out...maybe another loan next season is required
May 13, 200816 yr Yeah, he hasn't been great the last few games for them. Far too many runs with his head down and taking one touch too many. Hopefully he'll have learnt a lot playing in these high pressure games. Still have high hopes
May 13, 200816 yr hopefully a reality check for some at least. messi, fabregas and rooney are all anomalies. too much pressure placed on the club and more worryingly our young players to find / be instantly world class players. still wouldn't mind seeing scott take swp's place in the squad next year though, provided we replaced malouda with a top player.
May 14, 200816 yr i thought he was poor against bristol in the last few games, gave the ball away to cheaply and a lot of his passes were going no where near his team mates on what i have seen of him i dont think he will become a chelsea player, i think he will be sold
May 14, 200816 yr Author on what i have seen of him i dont think he will become a chelsea player, i think he will be sold and youve came to this decision after watching him in how many games? give the lad a break. hes been loaned out to get exactly this kind of experience. i fully expect him to be part f the squad, if not the start of next season, then at the end of it.

May 14, 200816 yr Author fair enough. your entitled to it and i respect it. i just think making it after one game is a tad harsh.
May 14, 200816 yr fair enough. your entitled to it and i respect it. i just think making it after one game is a tad harsh. in all fairness i've seen him quite a few times this season on the telly in a couple of games he was good in fits and starts in 1 game he was class i just dont think he quite has what it takes to step up to the level we expect at chelsea maybe in a few years with some experience under his belt who knows he has a lot of potential, but is easily knocked off the ball, needs to put on a bit of weight, that might make a difference
