June 24, 200816 yr I strongly feels that Zlatan Ibrahimovic sould be the striker we be getting! As much as I like Zlatan on his good day, he is not a very consitant player and I believe there is much better players then him that could fit in our squad much better. He is good, but looking at his time at Juve and this season Inter, he sometimes goes missing, and I know he scored two goals in that last game. I'm in the VDV bandwaong though
June 24, 200816 yr Chelzdude might be onto something here. Mourinho doesn't appear to be a big Ibrahimovich fan but would love to bring Drogba with him to (Inter) Milan. Drogba will be a big loss for Chelsea when he leaves (I put his departure in the highly likely basket), Zlatan is probably one of the very few who could come in and directly replace Drogba with any success. It would certainly make Brian happy.
June 24, 200816 yr Yeah Qaz I agree, I think that he might be the closest thing to a target man after Drogba. However, again, this is all dependant on Scolari playing a lone striker. If we play a 2 maan partnership, then I think that there are better strike force combos out there that don't include Zlatan. If you say his name 3 times, Brian M will come out of hiding!

June 24, 200816 yr Well, we are all entitled to out opinion, but that is not one I share. And I am not even Drogba's biggest fan. They are both great strikers on their day, but both equally as moody.
June 24, 200816 yr True! And Zlatan is way better than Drogba... At least that's what i think.. =) We could make a swap and ask for 10 mil, that would be fair!
June 24, 200816 yr Author We could make a swap and ask for 10 mil, that would be fair! HAHA! Agreed! Since Jose would like to see Drogba so much in inter, then perhaps he should pay the pricey reunion.
June 24, 200816 yr Author Well, we are all entitled to out opinion, but that is not one I share. And I am not even Drogba's biggest fan. They are both great strikers on their day, but both equally as moody. Then maybe David Villa should be a more realistic choice. hope chelsea act fast. Liverpool is interested in David too, but sometime ago, David Villa rubbishes talks of going to Liverpool. Chelsea may stand a good chance to secure that big guy's signature!
June 24, 200816 yr Mate, the last thing we need is to have the scallies have a strike force of Villa and Torres! However, us to have a strike force of Villa and Huntelaar would be really nice. Again, merely my opinion
June 24, 200816 yr Zlatan is absolute pants. I don't want him anywhere near our team. Being able to score the odd good goal doesn't make up for a bad attitude and complete lack of work ethic. It would be a disaster.
June 24, 200816 yr Loz - is chelzdude the same manc fan that was on here a few days ago? (ip check pl) Has Brian M been banned?
June 24, 200816 yr Loz - is chelzdude the same manc fan that was on here a few days ago? (ip check pl)Has Brian M been banned? waste of a discussion...he just signed a new deal at inter and is best paid player in serie a

June 24, 200816 yr Whingy, arrogant, stroppy, overrated, aggressive, very much a form + youtube player No thanks.
June 24, 200816 yr lol, some of the quoteables in only 18 posts were golden. Zlatan, is, in my opinion, the consumate show pony. Scores a few goals, but his pinnache and tricks make him far popular than his talent or attitude justify. In fact, Madrid should be asking Jose about him, because im pretty sure the Special One is going to have him by the bollards in a few weeks

If he only got in better shape or at least try harder to defend then i wouldnt mind us having a go. Anyway wheres Brian M at? waste of a discussion...he just signed a new deal at inter and is best paid player in serie a Yeah and besides he has full backing from Moratti so i dont think Jose even had a say in that matter, maybe theres not much diference between Abramovic and Moratti.
June 24, 200816 yr hopefully scolaris way forward means we don't need a big target man,Torres and villa are not exactly built like Drogba, and as for ZI can't knock his skill but his scoring record is pants.
June 26, 200816 yr did you watch the euros? thats him all over great talent and skill very rarely used. no thank you
June 26, 200816 yr Certainly not this guy!, he has a history or major strops and dips in form and seems to disappear when needed the most. Selling Drogba for Ibra does not get my blessing!! A more suitable player to fill Drogba's void would be Benzema but Anelka and Malouda have not filled me with confidence in the french.
June 26, 200816 yr I've had an email from our freind in Sydney, though I think now he's hanging out in west Hollywood. ;)
May 3, 200916 yr Not sure if we still have any interest in him, or if he'd be interested in us, but he's been getting a lot of stick from Inter fans lately, and was getting booed by them for his performance against Lazio... he reacted with a great goal and a great assist, and then by telling the crowd to be quiet. With that in mind, seems like there's a chance he'd be on his way out maybe?
