Nothing has been said about his future in recent weeks so i assume he's staying. Great news if true, and he could be invaluable to Scolari and new coaching staff.

Pracidelli I think.

Does anyone know if it's only English fans who demand someone attached to the club is involved on the coaching side, I like that it happens and am just interested to know if it happens elsewhere.

dunno if we demand it here, but I know it's common for the big spanish and italian sides to include ex players in their non playing staff.

What's happening is the Big man is starting to tell a joke, it starts off: There was a Brazilian, a Colombian and a Peruvian, when Pizarro butts in and says not that old chestnut and the Big Man replies, no we're selling you.

'Steve Clarke is Chelsea Football Club through and through.

'He has been with the club in a coaching role for a long time, even before he took the job with José.

'We have the greatest respect for Steve Clarke. He has met several times with Felipe and I think they are getting on fine.

'I am optimistic that Steve will be an important part of Felipe's coaching staff this year and in the future,' explained Buck.

Well, that's good enough for me.

;) Clarkey is a legend, the players respect him & the fans want him its win win

scolari is saying

i've herd malouda is our best player

hes saying "shaun is a player? i thought he was a kid here for autographs"

Besides being a bona fide legend, Steve Clarke is (I think) the last real link with the Chelsea of "my day", so of course I'll be delighted if he stays at the club for many years to come.
