according to 'sources', didn't take training today and is believed to have fallen out over Barton transfer.

Many think he has left the club :D

Rumours are circulating that Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan is to leave his job as manager.

He wasn't at training this morning and is supposed to be unhappy at St James' Park and upset that Newcastle were willing to let Barton go.

What can you say? This idiot seems to have a spell on ever sucker manager he meets. Wait until Keegan gets glassed for his troubles.

Yeah, they seem to be not very fond of him there at the Toon

It is believed that he has now left Newcastle.

No official word from the club yet.

I dont think it will be long.

"Newcastle United manager Kevin Keegan has been holding talks with the board regarding his future, according to reports.

Keegan returned for his second stint as Magpies manager in January, but rumours suggest he could be leaving his role.

Sky Sports News understands Keegan did not take training on Tuesday and met with board members on Monday."

Kevin Keegan has apparently been paid off by the Newcastle board , and bought a burnt out house nr the market town of Oswestry , Shropshire, with the intention of renovation !! :P

...and Mike Ashley has changed the name on the back of his shirt form King Kev to F' King Kev

Now that IS funny

Kenyon must be thanking his lucky stars there is at least one personality in English football who can always be counted on for embarrassment.

I mean, everyone knew Keegan wasnt the solution when he was hired. But surely Ashley could see they arent good enough and would just let things lie.

On Sky Bet, Poyet (5/2) is the favourite to take over, followed by Wise (9/2) then Shearer (11/2). I think it's worth putting a couple of quid on Shearer. ;)

Hope you aint put your bet on yet.

bbc had a mass of toon fans outside SJP chanting at the club offices. It looks like another PR mess in the ongoing trainwreck known as Newcastle United Football Club. God help those Geordie fans.

He's gone.

Keegan resigns as Newcastle boss

I've been working desperately hard to find a way forward with the directors, but sadly that has not proved possible

It's my opinion that a manager must have the right to manage and that clubs should not impose upon any manager any player that he does not want

Is what he said, which rings a bell, it has to be said.
