Seems the Kone deal is £52m + year long loan deal for Gittens to Roma. Worry is his injury history, and Serie A is an awful league presently.

Arsenal vs Chelsea (PL) Sunday 6th September 16:30 GMT
Yup. Would snatch your hand for a draw. Feel like this is our toughest game of the season, and our squad hasn't fully gelled yet.

Vincent Kompany winning the league with Bayern is the equivalent to losing your virginity with a prostitute. He's the same level as Lampard at best.
- Lamine Camara

Not sure we were in control though, we conceded a lot goals and a lot of chances. Is the way we play the last two games ideal? Maybe not but I don't care. I just want to see fun football. The only thing I was worried about 343 especially with no Europe is minutes for other attackers.

‘Goin Down To The River.’ Mississippi Fred McDowell. I might well have previously posted this and relatively recently!

Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now

‘Too much too young.’ The Specials.- Pedro Neto *Official*
Never been a massive fan of Neto but attacking wise, Alonso does seem to be getting the best out of him. I won't be too upset if he does leave, but happy for him to stay as a handy squad player and 100% prefer to see him playing over Gusto.- The Mourinho Netflix Documentary
I don’t wish to tie myself down to a specific one- Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
Absolutely. I do think the idea that "lots of possession=control" is about to be challenged, though- Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
Trev when he arrives at the training ground, only to see Sanchez........................Today

www.chelseafc.com In the summer of 1995 the directors at Chelsea took the decision to try to attract top-quality players with experience of winning. Signing Mark Hughes, was for me anyway, a massive statement of intent. He certainly fitted the bill, having won Two league titles, Three FA Cups and a European Cup Winners Cup at his previous club. Although he was never a prolific goalscorer, Hughes' powerful hold-up play helped performances improve through his first season. However, it was not until the arrival of Gianfranco Zola that Chelsea fans saw the best of the Welshman. The pair formed an almost-perfect partnership and were instrumental in us winning the FA Cup in 1997. Hughes, in particular, was outstanding in the fourth round victory over Liverpool, his all-round power turning the game after coming on as substitute with us trailing 2-0. No one loved an acrobatic volley more than Mark Hughes The following year 'Sparky' added to his considerable trophy cabinet by winning the League Cup and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Although not a regular in the line-up for European games, it was his spectacular volley that won the semi-final against Vicenza with time running out. His Chelsea career ended with a tally of 39 goals from 123 games as well as those three winners' medals.- Random Rumours
Is Essugo really so bad that he can't get any minutes in midfield ahead of Gusto and James? If so, why the hell did we sign him?- Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
I'm not sure having 30% possesion is a good idea but what has really worked in the last two games was that we scored from our 1st chance. Football is so much easier if you score first and early.- Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
Soooooo, surely now that Sanchez is going Ben Roberts doesn't want to stay around anymore? Right? Can we loan him to Como as well?- Which players do we Sell or Loan for the 26/27 Season?
Just noticed that Deivid Washington to Strasbourg still isn't confirmed LOL.- Which players do we Sell or Loan for the 26/27 Season?
7M for Tosin summarises what a complete waste of time and money that signing was. We paid him more than that in wages for two seasons ...- Which players do we Sell or Loan for the 26/27 Season?
The official list as it stands right now : https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/summer-transfers-2026-all-the-chelsea-ins-outs-and-new-contracts-so-far- Which players do we Sell or Loan for the 26/27 Season?
Tosin as good as confirmed for 7M exit Guiu as good as confirmed for 14M exit Misha season long loan confirmed Fernandez will happen, it has to. Slonina, who cares at this stage. Paez is such wasted potential, seen him linked with a loan to the great unwashed, which will do nothing for his career. I’d be more tempted to keep him at the club and pair him with Hendo or someone to straighten him out as there’s definitely a player there. Essugo seems to want Hull (or the PL to be more specific) BlueCo seem to want Strasbourg, I’d guess this is a late move dependant on how the Enzo domino and replacements fall for us. Neto, if he goes he goes, if he stays he stays. He’s an OK squad player but isn’t a wing back ever.- Marc Guiu
14M to Leipzig. Is this one of those scenarios where it’s a win for all involved parties? Just waited 2 years of the poor lads career in the process.- Which players do we Sell or Loan for the 26/27 Season?
Expecting to see some movement today on all the following exits : Fernandez Adarabioyo Mudryk (loan) Guiu Essugo (loan) Slonina Paez (loan) Liverpool seem to be after a winger so maybe we also see them make a late move for Neto ? And hopefully we get a midfielder or two coming in, and maybe a centre back. - Lofty's Wall of Sound - What are you listening to?
