Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
I assume Monaco or Roma is just trying to extract more money out of us and they know we need to purchase, but I am a little nervous if we don't get a replacement. If Caicedo is out we have some pretty big issues. While I really want Enzo sold... if it was between selling him with no replacement or keeping him, I'd have to say we might need to keep. Also very irritated City apparently left it so late, and how much groundwork we apparently did or didn't do for replacements.

Random Rumours
Just did a bit of a ChatGPT because I have been so removed from the Premier League outside of Chelsea for the last couple of seasons and had no clue about what Adam Wharton and Alex Scott offer and Wharton certainly seems the type of player I’d like to see come in if we lose Fernandes

Haha first dibs on some academy graduates you mean?- Lofty's Wall of Sound - What are you listening to?

If City do get their man, I will personally shake the hands of Maresca should I ever meet him. i dont know if i am laughing or crying that another club value Enzo at 120 million, are prepared to pay it, and the deal, at this stage, looks like its going through says BBC as clubs enter into final negotiations. Wonder if the directors are trying to get first dibs on Haarland...- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
Feels like City want a Maresca compensation amount discount to essentially get their money back. Feels like there’s a lot of pride and saving face on top of the standard transfer.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
Will we let him go if we cant get antone else in? Kone - manager has told Roma not to let him go Zubamendi - Legohead has just said he is not for sale Scott - Bournemouth are refusing to budge Wharton - Palace said hes going nowhere Now Gibbs white - be surprised if he’s allowed to go Or Bergvall really? https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/2244494/Chelsea-transfers-Enzo-Fernandez-replacementToday

If we have genuinely turned down a City bid in excess of £120m then we are crazy. There is virtually no market for Enzo at the price we are asking. Of the clubs that could afford him, City are the only ones that actually want him, and that's probably 100% Maresca's doing (I can't imagine Guardiola would have been interested if he was still their manager). A bird in the hand and all that ...- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
He’s gone, it’s inevitable, I just can’t fathom why City are so desperate for him? He had a few good performances in Europe, but I can’t genuinely remember a single time in the PL he’s looked anywhere close to good enough. Get Camara in this window, poach Wharton on the cheap in January when Palace are mathematically relegated.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
Nice of Egbahli to tell you this, any news on if Ben Roberts is being hung for treason?- Random Rumours
Adam Wharton replacement boys- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
If this falls through, I will be sick. Vibe around the squad feel so good. Its been such a good summer. We cannot have this sod at the club.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
I think it's smart to turn off the internet for the day. Right now 90% of what we hear is just noise that has an agenda. Whether to drive up the fee or to drive down the fee of someone we're trying to buy.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
CANT BELIEVE THIS IS TRUE, JUST UNDER 120M POUNDS https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2026/manchester-city-reach-e140m-agreement-with-chelsea-to-sign-enzo-fernandez/- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
I agree with most of that, but it looks like we are in serious need of a midfielder now (or even two), and I'm not so sure Scott is who we need either. I'm getting the growing feeling that we'll be stuck with Enzo at least till Christmas.- Random Rumours
Fingers crossed mate🙂👍- Random Rumours
I agree with you, it’s not looking likely. But with Disasi and Honest going to Palace on loan, gives me a glimmer of hope. Maybe we’ll get it out of the blue later tonight. We already made offers for Scott. So we may well come back in for him today with a mega offer. Unlikely, I agree. Impossible? I don’t think so.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
His book value, which is what matters for accounting purposes, is around 60m.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
Shift him out without a replacement. Go back in for Scott in January. Even if he were to stay, we've seen hes not defensively sound enough to play in that two. Him being here makes little difference to that- Random Rumours
Defo my choice would be Wharton or Scott but i just dont see much chance of that happening. Arsenal already have enough quality midfielders if they were to lose Zubimendi they would be covered, Bournemouth and Palace not so much.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now

Reports the 120mill package offer has been rejected, along with reports our offer for Camara has been rejected along with Roma's manager putting a firm block on allowing Kone to join us, despite us offering him Gittens on loan, which he apparently really wants. City left this too late, their intention was to make us accept a smaller fee on their terms it seems but it is blowing up both in their face and ours as, if our replacements don't come in, Enzo stays. - Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
