If we have genuinely turned down a City bid in excess of £120m then we are crazy. There is virtually no market for Enzo at the price we are asking. Of the clubs that could afford him, City are the only ones that actually want him, and that's probably 100% Maresca's doing (I can't imagine Guardiola would have been interested if he was still their manager). I agree with most of that, but it looks like we are in serious need of a midfielder now (or even two), and I'm not so sure Scott is who we need either. I'm getting the growing feeling that we'll be stuck with Enzo at least till Christmas.

Shift him out without a replacement. Go back in for Scott in January. Even if he were to stay, we've seen hes not defensively sound enough to play in that two. Him being here makes little difference to that

Defo my choice would be Wharton or Scott but i just dont see much chance of that happening. Arsenal already have enough quality midfielders if they were to lose Zubimendi they would be covered, Bournemouth and Palace not so much.

Reports the 120mill package offer has been rejected, along with reports our offer for Camara has been rejected along with Roma's manager putting a firm block on allowing Kone to join us, despite us offering him Gittens on loan, which he apparently really wants. City left this too late, their intention was to make us accept a smaller fee on their terms it seems but it is blowing up both in their face and ours as, if our replacements don't come in, Enzo stays.
