i know a couple of people who might be interested, but they are not chelsea fans. one of them played at youth international for Malta, and he is class, can play central defence or rampaging midfield, the other guy plays central/right midfield and he is also very useful. I am frantically trying to work something out to get to cobham, but its getting difficult. Suppose no one has a private jet/helicopter and could pick me up?....

Have checked for train times to come down, it is very difficult for me to make it, did try to persuade my fiancee to have a long weekend in London, and then would be able to make the Saturday. Using ther train on the day, earliest i could get to Cobham would be about 10.30-11am, and as for going home, would end up sleeping on the concourse of Euston Station. Would really have like to have taken part, sounds like a good day. I will see if i can arrange anything, so i am still a maybe, but if you get the numbers then i will see what i culd do for next year. Unless there is anyone travelling down either from my area or the midlands, and could help out.

agree with dkw here, this season drogs has tried to do things on his own, when we clearly have had men over, and all that was needed was a simple pass. if this is now drogs is going to play then it is better that he goes and we get a player with better footballing brain, who will lay that pass off when the opportunity arises. Also since the final drogs has gone to ground, probably pimping himself around Italy.

Claudio did say when he came to the club, it would take him 4 seasons to land the EPL, he was here for 3 and then JM came and we won the EPL. Most of the signings of that team were Claudio's Yes he tinkered, but he was getting there. In his 3 seasons we finished 4th, 3rd and 2nd. He got us to a CL Semi. I prefer him to Grant.

Drogba has to go after last night. What happened was the final straw. He has let us down with his antics and performances. Let him go where his ego is best suited. If needs be, I will pay the postage on the packing crate.

Let me tell you: I don't have a clear picture of who took our penalties, as I removed myself as far from the telly as possible when the penalties started. I just couldn't bear to watch it . I know about Terry and Anelka of course, but I've yet to read up on a blow-by-blow account, haven't been able to find the time yet.... Goes and stands in the naughty corner after being told off..........

This is now really funny, a manc fan doesn't even know who took their penaties and yet has says he watched all the game. He keeps getting so many facts wrong bout his team, it is really really really funny, my sides are hurting so much now.......

For next season quite a few things need to be done. 1. Sit down with Frank and sort out his contract. 2. Get rid of the deadwood( i.e. Sidwell, Ben, Pizza, Sheva, etc) 3. If Drogba wants to go, then get as much money as we can. 4. Buy sensiblely, strengthen the areas we need to, the midfield is prettt well covered. 5. Sort out the management team, maybe move Grant upstairs and make Clarke No.1, if not maybe bring back Vialli. With all our England players not being at the Euro's, at least they can have a rest now, and hopefully be refreshed for the new season.

Already getting it in the neck from the Mancs, bout how the best team won, if its not them having a go, its the scousers. The only consolation i have is that Ronaldo missed his pen, with the stop/start/stop/start method. The team on the whole gave it all, except Malouda( would have started with Kalou ), and what the hell was Drogba playing at. Let's prepare for next season, sort out the team, management, and get everything sorted and in place. We have had a better season than i thought we would have had, after the JM/Grant business. I can remember the girl as well, she came on the same time as I did. I am a life long chelsea fan and live in Liverpool. I feel the same as Jane on the people in glass houses, or maybe pot/kettle/black or remove the plank from your own own before removing the speck of dust from the other person. As long as posts are clear, precise and do not resort to name calling and getting bordline offensive, then its ok, otherwise i found my self switching off the posts.

On Sky Sports News last night, Old Big Nose was shouting Penalty every 5 minutes, and when the 3rd goal went in, Tony Cascarino was trying not to laugh, cos Big Nose was ranting.......priceless
