  1. Let's show Liverpool how to do it!!!!!!!!!1
  2. Let's not waste anytime, declare our intentions that we are going to retain the cup Cech Belletti Alex Ricky Bridge Mikel Essien Ballack Cole Anelka Drogba Subs Carlo TJ Lamps SWP Kalou
  3. Just read in todays Liverpool Echo, that Gerrard has conceded the title race, and say that fourth place is now the goal. Tragic to think that your aim now is fourth place in the league.......
  4. Congrats to H&W on their win last night. Now to take on Liverpool and hopefully beat them. Have placed a £10 bet for them to win @ 100-1
  5. I would like to throw my hat in the ring, and i will undercut Qaz and only ask for £900,000 a year
  6. Hi Pete, Not that difficult, as long as you get the right information. Please either PM or email me, will try to point you in the right direction. Also would be willing to help you with the tree if you need it.
  7. I found out in researching my family tree, papers which should my Grandfather(mum's dad), was in WW I in the RAF and lied about his age, and then was in the Army in WW2, being rescued from Dunkirk and then landing in Normandy. I saw his demob papers from the RAF in 1920, and Army in 1947. Spoke to my mum about this and she told me she did not think this was important to tell me as it happened a long time ago. I vaguely recollect my grandfather as hed died when i was about 7, and he seemed to be introvert man, but i guess he had been through in both World Wars would have had some affect.
  8. Amy is a good singer, and i honestly like her albums. Lately she has spiralled out of control, with drink and drugs. Over a year ago I saw Amy in a concert, before she started the drinks and drugs, and she was brilliant, and enjoyed the concert. I did have tickets to see her on my birthday earlier this year and 30 minutes before the concert started she pulled out, "due to personal circumstances". Found out later she had basically consumed so much booze, that she could not even stand. I have seen reviews from 4 papers today saying it was a good concert last night, however reading the various forums where fans attended last night, they say she was really sh*te, and load of people left in their droves, and she was booed. I really doubt she will perform many of her concerts on this tour, either due to "personal circumstances" or the fact she has killed herself with excessive drink or drugs or a combination of both.
  9. I missed it as well, and forgot to set the video, so if anyone can provide a copy, i would really appreciate it. I know Wilfred Owen was killed a week before armsitice was declared. His poetry is very moving, as is all the war poets, they showed the futility of war and seemed to express how the soldier felt. To be honest, i am not sure if i could have gone 'over the top'. If you want to read a good book, then read the biography of Harry Patch, he is now 109, was wounded at paschendale. Saw him being interviewed at the weekend, very moving.
  10. Clattenburg is refereeing a uefa cup tie on Thursday, so that is the reason he is not down to ref at the weekend, something to with rest periods for refs or something.
  11. I could provide you with a very logical reply, but i don't want to be called Graham Poll...........
  12. Yes that is correct, sometimes the match officals in rugby miss this, though i dont know how. There is an offical who looks for such offences and records thems, so a player can be cited retrospectively and a panel look at the video evidence and decide whether to take action or not. In this case with Lima(samoa player), he twice tried to decapitate Wilkinson, the 1st time he pulled out of the challenge, cos the ref was right there, but the 2nd time the ref was not looking, and lima followed through very late. This reminds me of the sending of Zidane in the world cup final, cos the ref or the linesmen didn't see the offence, but it was reported by the fourth offical or someone, and once the ref had the facts, he took action. Should we go this way in Football, will make games go on longer. did the ball cross the line?.......stop the game, get the fourth offical to check on video, if it is a goal then ok, if not a goal, restart with a goal kick. But then where do you stop.
  13. Chelsea have lost their appeal over the red card. The 3 match suspension starts with tomorrows tie against hull, and then 2 EPL matches Fulham and Bolton. Terry now could be charged with his attempt at snatching the card that dean was trying to give to mikel.
  14. Dear Christ, what's the World coming to. Ah .. got it. If this bloke had stamped on a proper Scouser, he'd have been given a medal. Lofty, i find that distasteful. I live and work up here, and i have had no problems with the people here. There are a small minority of idiots, but don't tar everyone with the same brush.
  15. This is so Cr*p, play like this again, and we could have a very disappointing season. My fiancee is happy and sad, if that makes sense. She is happy cos Liverpool are top, but sad cos Chelsea lost. Work tomorrow will be hell, work with lots of pool fans, but still 33 games to go
  16. Totally fed up with Robben, he only plays when he feels like it, any strong tackle and he starts limping, feigning injury. We would be better off if he does goes to madrid. As previous posts have said Duff was a good loyal player, and did not resort to the antic of robben. I will send the packing crate to pack Robben in and ship him off.
  17. I understand the home of football in Liverpool is moving to Kirkby Already live up here, and getting tickets is difficult enough, have been offered a ticket in the kop, but doubt i would be able to keep quiet when we score loads of goals!! RedRob, if you want to meet up anytime for a beer, just pm me.
  18. Here it is reported on the BBC news website http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/6912900.stm
  19. Robben is definitely not work ?120k a week. The player has spent more time on his backside then he has played. As for Lampard a deal has to be reached. but again ?120k? Now on JT, I think a 9 year deal should be signed, however as regard to being a manager i think that is not a good idea. Surely he should start help with the youth team first, and work his way up eventually. I am astonished that they are stalling over a couple grand a week fgs!!! You mean they are saying i cannot live or survive on ?90k a week. The majority of chelsea fans earn way way less than that a YEAR!!! They have made enough money already in their career and they want MORE? Who is being stupid, the players or the management. If the players say they love Chelsea and don't want to play for any other club, why are thery holding a loaded gun to the head of the club. They should play because they love the club and not the mighty Pound!!! At the end of the day Chelsea Football Club is greater than any player. After a player finishes his career, Chelsea will still carry on.
  20. Loz, Maybe you should ban her from the baby walker for 2 weeks, and 3 point on her licence... until she learns to use it responsibly
  21. They are ok for ocassional use i find, but if you are going to do a lot of typing then i would prefer a normal keyboard. Maybe get 2 keyboards, the flexible one for Miss Mini Loz, and the normal one for you.
  22. Why are you moaning about us signing 3 players on free transfers, would you like Chelsea to have spent ?50 mill on them. Would that make you happier? Remember we will lose a lot of player during the ANC, and Pizzaro will be used a lot more than you think he will. Like the previous post, this could become tedious. Just do one thing......Get behind Chelsea and Get behind the players. I would like to welcome Sidwell, Pizzaro, Ben Haim and hopefully Alex to the Club, and wish them every success.
  23. [ Think about the city that brought you Heysel, Joey Barton, Jamie Bulger, Brookside, Sonya, scallies, scum and Derek Hatton. Mike, i think you are out of order on including Jamie Bulger in your list. He was horrifically murdered and his killers will be free to live a new life in Australia with new identities. Loz, please note what i am saying, while you can make comparisons with what a city has given, to use Jamie Bulger like that is unacceptable. As Lofty as said, all we are doing in going round in circles repeatedly, and it is getting boring.
  24. A work colleague of mine was there with a valid ticket, while he was having a meal he witnessed at least seven, YES SEVEN muggings by Liverpool supporters on their own supporters. Also while he was queuing to get in, there were Liverpool supporters without tickets trying to charge into the stadium, these mindless idiot also had the 'Justice for the 96' badge on. He is disgusted with those mindless fans who could have cause a major disaster. Also UEFA are to blame for the allocation of the tickets, to give both sets of fans 17,000 tickets and then allocated the remaining tickets to the 'UEFA Family', this is also stupid. When the fans were being crushed the Greek police then sprayed tear gas at women and children who were trying to escape the crush, so on this account the police also have to accept some of the blame. Rick Parry, the chief executive of Liverpool is also to blame, by saying 'by hook or by crook we will get 40,000 Liverpool fans into the Stadium for the final', this is crass stupidity, also of the 17,000 allocation that Liverpool had, 6,000 went missing and Rick Parry refused to tell the fans where they had gone, until the fans pressure got to much, he then said 'the tickets had gone to the Liverpool Family'. This is also scandalous. I think, hearing from Genuine Liverpool supporters that everyone is to blame. The so called fans who say they support Liverpool, by mugging their own for their tickets and those who got in by charging at the gates. UEFA for not allocating enough tickets for the fans. Greek police for use of tear gas and batons against women, children and the elderly who were trying to escape the crush. And Rick Parry for his crass comments and idiotic handling of the 17,000 allocation.
