Would love to see that midfield trio get squad numbers and get some minutes each, along with Kalas getting a start every now and then. Around this time a year ago Barcelona were apparently interested in Loftus-Cheek? Plus we already know the quality of Baker and Ake. Unfortunately I cant see them getting much of a chance.

Thatts the thing, he scores against smaller oppositions more often. I dont think that's a bad thing for us though, as it is the smaller teams that we need to score more often against - goals usually come against tougher opponents is what im trying to say.

Thought we did great tonight, obviously wouldve prefered a 1-0 or 1-1 though. My man of the match was Terry, but honourable mentions to David Luiz, Mikel, Schwarzer, Azpi, Cahill and Cole. The whole defence pretty much. Keen for the second leg!

I rate Azpi extremely highly, so if we sign Shaw I want Ivan, Azpi and Shaw to get equal playing time. Azpi would play on separate sides in separate games, whereas Shaw would only be Left and Ivan right. Problem is I can never see it happening as Jose doesnt seem to like rotating much.

Not sure if this is 100 percent accurate. Doubt that it is to be honest, as i doubt the keepers would cover that much distance! Still interesting, however.

Noticed that too mate, always see on Channel 7 News Sydney that they will show goals from big games involving Man U, Liverpool or Arsenal, and on the rare occasion other teams! Atleast we got to see the game though.

Yeah, I also read on a rumour that he would prefer to go to Liverpool for "footballing reasons". (Not a reliable source though, was on a rumour page on facebook, so its probably made up because of how long its taking).

Extremely happy with the result, and I would just like to say well done Jose for not putting Mikel and Lampard together - we have all ben waiting for Luiz in midfield and I am pleased we got it. Also, Hazard has the best celebrations!!

(Also I want Hazard to play atleast 20 mins, and score, because of last time) I will take any win with a clean sheet.

I can see that happening too. Already been my fave for a while now actually, I love the way he plays and his attitude towards the game.
