Im so so exciting for this, what a tie!! For the record, Athletico are an absolutely delightful team to watch, great passing, Koke is amazing. Costa is lethal and overall their a very good team, anyone who thinks this is a good draw is silly. I think they'll hit us hard in the first leg and try grab 2 or 3 goals before we get our head in the game, they absolutely blitzed Barca and should have walked away with 4 or 5 nil win at the Vicente Calderon, But their defence is being a little over hyped hear, they do tend to concede chances, but I honestly believe we arent clinical enough to take them. Their a good team. I do expect us to come out, but maybe on an away goal or a 1 goal margin, it wont be pretty. At Stamford Bridge it could be 0-0 until the 80th minute when then, one of us will have to make a move.

I think Atsu is one of those players we have bough to sell in a few years at a tidy profit to cope with FFP. I think we have a good few of these young players. In terms of a clear out, Although Id like eto'o to stay id say we're looking at Torres, Ba, Mikel, Cole, Lampard, Mikel and possibly Lukaku ( :( ) to be leaving. In: Costa, another forward, Zouma, We will definitly buy a midfielder and Left back... would not be surprised if Coentrao would be brought in given Mourinho's affinity for him.

Im sure im not the only one that extremely dislikes Willian as the CAM, he makes great direct runs then slows down, stops, waits for the defence to get back in position before making a move. Andre though is top class. The man is also rapidly becoming one of my squad favourites, his finishing is amazing and you can see by his social media activity recently he's beginning to settle here! Excited for him next season.

Im so so excited like everyone for that spectacular week. Overcoming Sunderland will set us up nicely. The clash with Athletico is so so exciting. Could be amazing, potentially three european finals in a row? that would be incredible. The liverpool game will be hard, how to combat that midfield is crucial. Absolutely crucial, Henderson offers alot and his suspension is massive I think, Luiz / Matic Midfield could dictate alot, set Oscar to push Gerrard and we have a shot.

Agree with the above in regards him not being the finished article. He really does have bags of raw pace and this is surely something that can be used at the right time. HIs finishing was so so bad, quite disappointing he missed the early chance, if he put that in you'd think we'd have gone on a rout. It could have been a very costly miss.

He has to have a massive say in the rest of this UCL campaign after last night. I don't trust or like Ramires, apart from the goal away to Barca he is a right numpty and makes silly decisions. Strange JOM is getting no trust from Jose, he could be the perfect foil for Luiz in there, although I do think that Willian could play that deep aswell.

I love big Pete Cech, who doesn't? We signed him young and he has been the corner stone of our team for 10 years. However, I still voted Courtois. The lad looks a tank in the goal, he's fantastic, I've seen a decent bit of La Liga and he has been the standout for Athletico, not Turan, Costa or Koke. Really dont want Pete to leave, Courtois is probably going to do another year on loan, but you have to decide on whether Sentiment or Future is what we want, I know I want the future. Cech always a modern legend but he would command a huge transfer fee also.

Gonna be a big test away at Swansea, think the team will be Cech - Azapilicueta - Ivanovic - Cahill - A.Cole - Matic - Ramires - Salah - Oscar - Schurrle - Ba Im sure that would be Ramires available, I'm sure a rest will be given to JT (hobbling) Hazard (doubt) and Luiz ran himself into the ground.

All we can say about this is WOW It wasnt pretty, we lacked that real quality we know we have, but it was gutsy, and they tried until the end. Demba Ba deserves all the plaudits for playing CDM like a tank! What a man!

Went for Schurrle because his directness contributed to the downfall of PSG. I thought Willian had a poor game, slowed down the ball on the edge of their box, lacked penetration. Defensively he was as good as ever but he really does lack a "kill" instinct in games.

Can't disagree that the scousers are a bewildering bunch. Pretty much agree with the above however, no point wasting our time on them, thats the Liverpool way.
